Bloodlust as a Perk?

Over the last few streams and today in particular, the question came up about removing BL due to map changes and loops, etc. The answer was interesting but the theme seems to be they are afraid about removing it due to how ingrained this mechanic is and how some Killer players may rely on it more. So what about reverting Bloodlust into a new Killer Perk in the general pool? Let me be clear, I haven't really considered the question myself but just wanted to throw this suggestion over for them to consider.

I have to disagree with this. It is annoying af already to chase Survivors because looping is still a huge problem/too easy; bloodlust is the only thing that remains that can still stop that chase from dragging on for eternity (without the stupid mentality of 'JuSt LeT tHeM gO'.) If anything, I think BL needs to be buffed to not be broken unless the Survivor goes completely out of your sight - instead of breaking if they move around a crate or obstacle with half their body still exposed.

I would agree. Mostly you can say that you are doing something wrong as killer when you reach bloodlust. I would say a new perk would be BS because bloodlust is really not THAT strong and as perk maybe slightly above Monstrous Shrine.

But I would say put it additionally on Beast of Prey and remove the "pallet break" or "power use" condition, only reset on broken chase or hits. If this is possible, I think currently for example revving the chainsaw (or probably actually starting it) with Bubba removes bloodlust, which should not be the case then but injuring/downing someone with your power should.

it takes a while to build up BL so nah....it's there to make killer's game easier, to end the loops. Of course reaching max BL isn't very ideal at early game, but when you're about to win.

Some killers who are weaker in chase really need it, so I’ll have to say no. It actually irritates me how you lose it when breaking a pallet.

I probably sound like a killer main with <100 hours, but neither are true I promise you.
