A lack of stealth cosmetics
I notice in the shop that there are so many cosmetics to choose from. Yet most of them have very bright colors which are easy for the killer to spot. So my suggestion is to add more cosmetics that allow survivors to actually blend in with their surroundings.

They won't do that as they see it as 'Pay to win" which I agree with. If the best blendette outfit costs money or even shards then they have a advantage over the baseline claudettes because they spent money. Buying cosmetics has and always will be a harder mode. I can't tell you the amount of times I've found someone cause of their purple hair sticking out

BHVR (thankfully) likely won't do this, as paying money for a cosmetic with an advantage is not something they want to do. If you want a blendy survivor, Claudette exists.

No, that'll affect game balance quite badly. There's a reason why Blendette is the most hated survivor. Trying to find dark or camo survivors on certain maps like the swamp would be a nightmare for killer players.

Blendettes Are common enough as is. We don't need to start adding Blendwights and Blendeas into the mix.
Frankly, given the amount of tracking abilities/perks/addons that are available these days playing stealth is becoming less and less viable as a strategy. I'd be willing to bet money that this is an intentional move by the devs.
Also note that when I find you crouching behind a tree (not if, but when) I'm always going to chase you first. Not out of spite - it's just been my experience that stealth-oriented survivors are almost always weaker in chase.

^ Basically this.
They want to avoid anything that might get them even a sideways glance at being put under scrutiny and criticism of having a "Pay To Win" model, that's really bad press they don't want in the gaming community and would probably cause a lot of people to start leaving the game eventually because gaming companies can't help themselves. As soon as one pay to win thing shows up in the game and it works even a little bit all of a sudden 15 other things slowly crop up in the same vein of pay to win stuff.

Jake with his dark green or Black hoodie and hat are really hard to spot. I can keep motionless regularly and get away with it. The game prefers survivors to run around like headless chickens though.

I see all these posts about pay to win. This game already has pay to win in it though. Take decisive strike, one of the most powerful perks in the game. It requires at least five dollars if not on sale and not on the shrine. Besides no new stealth skin they'd add could possibly be as bad as blendette 😂

Also they added a stealth skin for Pig by giving her an outfit that is black instead of bright red which costs money. So if they do it with Pig, why can't they do it with survivors ? 🤔

Because... she's a killer?
The day we see killers crouching behind a tree all game and ignoring gens I'll consider this to be a problem.

People already hate Claudette enough, no need to extend that hate to other characters.

I see several arguments about how it would make the game pay to win. The problem with this argument is that some of the darkest outfits, the best to hide with, are already ones you need to buy. Most cost about 90 auric cells. But many you need to piece together and are nowhere near as cheap.
I too would like more variety of darker outfits to hide from the killer. Yeah, I know blendettes can be a pain in the ass to find. But as you learn to be a better killer you learn where to look for them.

1st why would they add new stealth cosmetics when they nerfed a lot of those (green Tshirt is a lot brighter etc)
2nd why ppl think about stealth only in way of invisibility cap xd when i was starting with DBD i was hiding behind objects (and running around those on urban in circles with killer) thats way more funnier than sitting in dark corner as dark character xd be stealthy colorful meg or someone else (now there is bunch of colorful skins)

@Pipefish There is way to play stealthy without having to blend in the background. It's all about pathing, anticipating where your enemy will go next and choosing wisely when to run, walk or crouch. Lots of perks can help you too! My personal favorite is Iron Will and Quick & Quiet.
As others mentioned in the thread, we are steering away from clothing that is too dark and impacts too much on gameplay. That is also why we've added bright stitches to the Left for dead black shirt back in the days. I am not saying some outfits aren't dark in the game at the moment, just that we're trying to steer away from it.

Imagine asking for more stealth cosmetics when you only need 1.

When did you catch me doing that? ;)

This made me laugh😂

Are there any plans to revisit old outfits and make them less ridiculously blended? Namely Claudette's mud-brown coloured head-to-toe camouflage.

I switched from a regular TV to an LCD LED and they all turned bright red.
It's not JUST the cosmetic.
