Is there any particular reason the blight can't attack during a slam?
Just saying because it feels like there's so many times where I'm directly next to a survivor during a slam and I just can't hit them. Starting another rush often is really disorientating in that scenario and can often result in a miss anyway.
Edit: I mean on slams following the first initial one, if it was available on the very first slam that would be way too good.
Would this be too strong or is this an actually valid idea?
Edit 2: Looking back, this would be way too strong on him, post resolved!

It would be too strong. Because then the Blight will just Rush into a pallet or window survivor currently running to and insta hit. Without planning or bouncing off walls. You just follow them and hit using 1 charge.

that's like saying, why can't i hit a surv while charging up my blink? or, why can't i hit a surv while i'm uncloacking? why can't i hit a surv while i'm revving? come one guys, why can't i hit a surv while phasing?

It's probably to provide counterplay. I can see him being too strong just slamming next to someone and hitting them.

Are you on controller or mouse and keyboard? I know what you're saying It just takes some getting used to. I play M+KB and it's fairly easy to slam and swing with a mouse i don't know how hard it would be on controller. It does take some getting used to try to slam a bit away from them and remember that you don't have to immediately dash again and you can properly aim and let go from the wall then swing.

I've been on mouse. I've started to get a lot better at him so honestly just disregard his post. My opinion on this guy has changed quite a bit now, used to be pretty low and now I really love playing him.

Not particularly helpful, and I already know from other posts not to take you seriously, but I get what you're trying to say.

Reconsidering this myself, and looking at everyone else's comments, it's pretty clear that this idea would be too strong.
