I am a rank 16 killer and just got put into a game with a rank 2 and rank 4 survivor, the other 2 survivors were 10 and 11. A friend of mine who is streaming the game as a killer is a rank 17 killer. He was just put into a game with survivors ranks 10, 10, 7, 6. How is the fair in any way shape or form? Or vise versa when a high rank killer is placed against survivors ranked 17-20. Its not very fun when they push you around so easily.

    There's not enough players left playing the game for them to do realistic matchmaking without having horrendous (even more than they already can be) matchmaking times. Although, ranks are really just an arbitrary bragging right and not a very good indication of actual skill - except maybe Rank 1 or high-rank Killer since it requires playing extremely toxic to maintain (since the pip and emblem system is ass-backwards and screwed to high heaven. Laughable trash system is laughable.)

    It is not fun for sure, but will we get any change anytime soon? I have doubts about it. People playing DbD are spread through world and timezones on top of having different ranks, as arcnkd said - to have quick matchmaking in current disproportions we have to mix players up, or else we would wait 30-60 minutes to find game, which was the case for killers not so long time ago.
