RIP Huntress
in Q&A dev says they changing huntress's add-on.
But looking at what they did to nurse and billy,
I refuse to believe they only nerfing iri head,
probably doing an entire add-on pass that no one ask for and making her unfun to play as.
so RIP, bye bye huntress.

They've also announced a Pig add-on sweep before. You don't see me complaining that they MIGHT make some changes to her base-kit that I may not agree with.
The only thing they could really do is reduce the hit-boxes on the hatchets, but that would fix her way more than it could nerf her.

Yeah, he's still a top tier killer with great mobility and kill potential. Oh no, he got moved 1/2 spaces to the right on the tier list, he's absolutely dead.
The only thing it did was make the charge add-ons not that strong, and gave him more unique add-ons (like being able to continue your dash through pallets and breakable walls).

He is the same, only you cant deny both exit gates forever to the last survivor. The last survivor can have a tiny hope of escaping, if you quickly waste your chainsaw.

I've had nothing but nerfs to my main since I started playing and I've always waited for actual patch notes before passing judgement. It isn't that hard.

Lol, you guys are too reliant on add-ons. I never use them & I 4k all the time on Huntress. Only add-on you need is good aim.

I've seen just as many Billys as I've seen Spirits so????????????????????? Your example is anecdotal. Billy also was less popular on console due to being a slightly more difficult to handle on controller and crossplay was implemented about the same time. So the pool of available Billys out chainsawing about has been watered down thanks to crossplay killers not picking him but still playing, if that makes sense?

If Huntress's speed is 115%, but every hatchet she carries, drop 1% speed. It would bring more various strats to her.
But only if Iri hatchet is nerfed.

Crossplay has also came out since then, and I can tell you as someone who used to play a lot of console- Billy is hard on there. He's just not easy to play with a controller. Possible? Yes. Easy? No.
I think Billy's nerf got blown out of proportion with PTB, but the stuff on live is fine. The add-ons needed to be changed, and I haven't heard any real complaints about the Overheat mechanic in it's current state.
I've been playing about... 3-ish+ hours a night with my friends, at least 4 nights a week, for the past 2+ weeks now- consistently at Rank 1. I haven't seen any more or less Billys since his re-work. If anything, I've actually seen less Leatherfaces.
I've seen mostly just a random assortment of killers. The rarest have definitely been Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Myers, Demo, and Huntress. Plus, with Blight out right now, a lot of people are going to be playing him.

Also, yes her add ons are outdated and especially her exhaustion add ons. That was before when you could recover exhaustion while running.

But Billy and Bubba's addon are actually pretty dope. Nurse has good addons but they put too many trash bp bonus in her kit. =-=

Then there are some niche add ons which may not always get use
The good ones are number increases to wind up, amount of hatches, and Cooldown there is no making those bad if that’s all they are
So again I say how can they make anything worse?
Also why do people talk about the not the best reworks Like Nurse is fine she is still the best killer the rework didn’t change her much at all just removed broken add ons. Billy got some cringe add ons that honestly suck but for the most part he is still a balanced killer
Then you have the for the most part good reworks like doctor, Freddy, and legion
If this is the mindset you have about the game why do you still play?

Nurse is still the most powerful killer.
And Billy, are you talking about the last Billy nerf a month or so ago? Have you actually played him since? That chainsaw overheat tweak has done nothing to impact his practical play... unless all you do is rev your chainsaw in front of a hooked survivor.

Why do you still stick with Pig? Her dash is ok, her stealth is terrible and her helmets are RNG based trash.

They haven't butchered anything so far this year in my opinion. Hillbilly on ptb was bad, but they adjusted it, to make it more fair, the nurse nerf was justified, doctor got a significant buff etc. The only killers they have ever "butchered" were ptb oni, legion, pig and old freddy. PTB oni was overpowered, but after they nerfed him, he didn't even have a power, thank god they gave him his flick back though. Legion was awful for game health, and there were so much exploits you can use with him. I'm pretty sure pigs terror radius got nerfed from 24 to 32 meters, and her endgame reverse bear traps were nerfed with egc. Old Freddy also got his terror radius nerfed, because survivors.

Her add-ons need work, they are so, so outdated. She has a 90 second exhaustion add-on and a hindered add-on as well, which are both extremely outdated.

maybe that's the case, I did consistently 4k with Doctor is red ranks before his rework (when he was awful), maybe I just get horrible survivors. I can't really remember a time I had a problem against survivors.

hill billy on the ptb is bad so they changed it a slight bit so it was only a little bad then said it wasn't bad enough and nerfed it harder, nurses blink charges are a pain and it just lowers the skill ceiling you can reach with the basekits of both killers

Pig is fun to play with Amanda's Letter + Murky Reagent.. to me at least. "Terrible" stealth suddenly becomes "actual" stealth

why wasn't he an issue the previous 3 years? once they waxed nurse/spirit survivors moved on to billy.. even though he'd been fine since the beginning of time

The person you responded to literally was suggesting to buff her speed to 115% which is 5% faster than her movement speed right now, and if she carries 5 hatchets, she moves at 110% which is her speed now.
