I'll never understand why players stick around after purposefully disconnecting. Personally I think DBD should have bots in place like the mobile game has for something like this, but if you were purposefully disconnecting because you're not having fun, then move on to the next match. Sticking around just so you can say vile s*** to the killer is ridiculous.
I played a Freddy match a couple of nights ago and two players disconnected within a few minutes. Since there were still five gens left to go I went ahead and let the other two survivors farm. I brought in a cake too which allowed all of us to rack up quite a few blood points.

Well, the Survivor could be the last guy who disconnected, so he would not have to stick around, he would just be there at this point.
Regarding Bots - I hope I never see them in DBD. Might be nice for Killers to get some easy points (as if this is not easy enough already for Killer), but as Survivor I dont care if it is a 3v1 or a 4v1 with one Bot who will not be useful at all.

I certainly understand the hesitation people would have with bots. But when people start to disconnect there needs to be a mechanic in place that makes life easier for the remaining survivors. Like I said, in my previous match as Freddy two survivors disconnected which left the two remaining survivors to work on five generators which is completely unfair. At the very least bots would give those two survivors the extra time necessary to work on gens while the bots keep the killer busy.

Maybe BVHR could make it so if someone disconnect's it automatically gives us a quarter of a pip? So if 4 people disconnect that's 1 pips and there's nothing to worry about. Plus BHVR removed the DC penalty again for some reason. I feel like that is heavily needed.

They keep removing it because hackers keep finding ways around it unfortunately.
A quarter of a pip for every disconnect isn't a bad idea either. But if half of your team disconnects, then I think at the very least you should be guaranteed a safety pip.
