Idea to make spirit more fun to verse
Sounds are no longer directional. Pretty much a good spirit cant insta kill you if you dont have iron will and a stridor spirit cant insta kill you no matter what. Now all other sounds made by survivors are extremely loud well loud enough. This way iron will doesn't super counter non stridor spirits.
Also when shes phases her husk disappears so no more stand still mindgame. Her husk will disappear .75 seconds later if instant disappearing is bad balance wise.

Here's my favourite spirit change, that would make her more fun to verse, and doesn't kill her at the same time, otz came up with it.
Remember old Freddy? When you were in the dream transition, you could see glimpses of him. Maybe every 2 seconds, you can see a glimpse of spirit while she is phasing, this would also increase her skill cap, since spirits can do actual skillful techs, like faking their direction. Or you can give her blue scratchmarks when she's phasing, but I like the glimpses more.

I seen that idea before It was really good. I just would rather her not be a guessing game or the counter being baby blueberrys.

Yeah, maybe you can also make her footsteps louder as well, or make the grass rustle, in case she fakes her direction. Survivors would be given lots of feedback.

Moving grass and louder footsteps would be great. Now survivors have to pay attention. This would make the stand still kinds useless because you can now tell where she is and do something accordingly

The stand still "tech" needs to go anyway, as it is the cheapest way to hit someone.

It is cheap I dont run back into spirits to counter that but still doubling back into the spirit should be a good tactic to fake her out.

Because there is no way to know if she is standing still or not. If I run, she is either already phasing and going to hit me, and if she is standing still, she can phase and hit me. "OOH BUT SHARDS" no, you have to be literally touching her model to see her shards glow.

I wouldn't necessarily say make her more "fun" to play against. Her husk could disappear or sounds could be loud as hell while phasing but does that mean survivors will have a fun time against her then? Most likely not.

The lack of fun stems from the lack of info and real chance of beating her if shes good. When you make winning a chase a possibility by being good and attentive yourself fun can be had.

The term doesn't allow for an actually conversation for balance. It is just a subjective view. Even if this tweaks were implicated a vast majority of survivors wouldn't suddenly start having fun playing against her. She can still dominate you in a chase. Like why should clown get a buff? He is the most "fun" killer in the game to me! But seriously a spirit tweak should definitely happen, I just don't think survivors will actually be satisfied with it.

Yeah the term is subjective but the reason she isnt fun to verse us objectively. Clown is pretty boring to me but thats because his counterplay isbjust pre throw.

Well you're gonna go down eventually you can't play against her the same way you would a trapper and if she bothers you that much run iron will.
