I demand that the hook glitch be fixed immediately!
I've seen some bugs in my day, but this one puts the rest all to shame! Literally can't hook someone! I'm surprised people are still playing killer. It's a survivor favoring bug, so that's why something so game breaking hasn't been fixed like yesterday. I expect better than this. Do the devs not know how to code?! I'll just have to main survivor until it's been fixed. Or maybe I should "go play something else"?

Now that Daniel master 87 has said it I'm sure the devs will fastrack the fix to a problem they've already stated they are fixing. On a serious note, why does this post exist? Could you not find another post to put this on?

At first I question if you know how to code, regarding your "fixed yesterday" policy. Second, if this puts the rest all to shame for you, then you probably didn't play during the new years vacation period, where they shortly before released a bug allowing the same perk to be stacked multiple times and allowing killers to use Bond for example.

It is both perfectly reasonable and in most cases expected for a paying customer to make demands regarding whatever they're paying for working correctly. Doesn't mean the demand will be met or even acknowledged, but if you're paying for something, you damn well better demand it works right in a reasonable time frame. Only a sucker or an idiot would sit around making excuses for the people who they're paying money to.

That's all true enough, but I'm beyond giving BHVR the benefit of the doubt. There's something rotten in the game or maybe they just don't have the technical chops to be running a game like this, because the bugs never stop. Every single patch there's new gamebreaking bugs. Not just minor things or the occasional big bug (that would be patched in under a day in most other games with this kind of playerbase) but huge bugs every single patch, that take months to fix, with hot fixes being extremely rare.
It makes the game exhausting to follow and enjoy. Watching that tournament over the weekend was just horrendous because of it.

have you had a situation where they wiggled out because of it?? I haven't had an instance where that screwed me in any way and its happened many of times.

Yes I have. If you haven't, you either got lucky that the bug fixed itself, or you were able to drop and pick up the survivor which is the bug fix. But when people are body blocking hooks or a guy has Boil Over, it's a free getaway.

You think not being able to hook survivors is bad, I was trapped behind a hook after being saved. My game was pretty much over. couldn't get out no matter what I did and was forced to take a hit and bleed out. now that was annoying .

Someone who spent money on this game. I at least deserve to play it. I'm guessing you can't sympathize because you didn't experience the bug yourself.

When you get to the hook if the glitch happens simply drop them and pick them up and try again. This has worked for me without fail everytime ( well, when I was able to drop them anyway. I have lost a few before I was able to drop em.)

What is the DS stun bug? I may have experienced it but I'm not sure. And the hill bug was at least avoidable, just don't go up the edge of the hill.

1 there been survivor bug that help them remember wake up bug but they banned people for using the legion add on bug.

DS stun is very short, it's like a pallet, considering that you as a survivor can move after a second, well it doesn't give you much time of an advantage. The hill bug was fixed, or at least I am not experiencing it anymore.

I can vouch for op i play on switch and this same bug makes us killers not be able to hook 50 percent of the time but also not interact with gens half the time and not be able to vault certain windows. I refuse to play crossplay with the ability to mod as killer and survivor not being available. This is indeed a horrible problem and i cannot play the game.

I've not dropped a single survivor. I just press the button to hook them over and over a again and I get the hook eventually. To be honest if you are worried about body blocks use iron and mad grit or agitation and mad grit you won't be screwed anymore in fact survivors will regret ever even trying to pull that #########. AND if the bug is affecting you that badly and survivors are using perks to make it worse let them bleed out. That is what I would do and then see how that works for you. I know its probably annoying and definitely feel like this has to be one the THE MOST rushed and buggy patches in a long time but imo poop happens and they will rectify it. I just wish they would take caution and make sure they got all of the kinks worked out before dropping a patch. I remember a dev team that was more diligent in dropping new content and didn't mind pissing us off to wait for a patch but in the end it was well worth because there were few bugs that affected the game. There are so many bugs in this patch that I would rather have waited an extra week for it to be sorted before getting the new content. Killer just INS'T fun AT ALL with this new patch.
