Rage quitters - DC/suicide on hook
WHY??!?
9 hooks is all I need and I cant get that if 2-3 people suicide on first hook!! Im in purple/red ranks what the hell?

It's not accurate. I played 4 hours to get 3/3 iri devout.
I had a lot of games with 10 hooks and still didn't get the iri.
You need 11 hooks, trust me.

No you donβt, the calculation is a bit complicated. From the wiki on how it works
Your need 10 points total from below to earn an Iridescent Devout emblem
0 points: starting value
2 points: awarded for each Sacrifice
2 points: awarded for each Kill
0 points: for each bleed-out death
2 points: awarded for each Disconnect
1 point: awarded for having hooked all Survivors at least once
1 point: a bonus awarded after having hooked all Survivors a combined total ofΒ 9 times
As a reminder, Sacrifice means dying on the hook. So to get the Iri you need to hook all the survivors at least once, get at least 9 total hooks and all the survivors have to be dead or disconnected with nobody bleeding out on the ground. ( Also Cages donβt count as hooks, sorry Pyramid Head.)

You don't get iri with 9 hooks.
I had 10 hook merciless victories and the devout was gold. So please.

Youβre wrong, the Wiki is correct. I played five games yesterday and got two out of the three medals using Pyramid Head and Blight (one each) and Pyramid Headβs Cages donβt even count toward the βhook all survivorsβ point.
People are complaining because when someone DCs before you can hook them once or you can get your 9 total hooks it prevents you from getting the Iri medal. If you played four hours and never got the medal because of disconnects thatβs why, you either never hooked the person who DCβd or didnβt get 9 total hooks (or someone bled out on the ground which also prevents it.)

Well, i did the challenge and 9 hooks were enough for me.
But you have to remember, there are things survivors can do that distract from your rating, for example if they heal up and stuff. If you let them heal up all the time, you might need more hooks, also if you get 9 hooks but all escape.
9 Hooks is a criteria, but its surly not the only one. But without at least 9 hooks you wonΒ΄t get it.

there is a negative for devout if you are around the hook too much, but healing does not take from devout. Healing reduces the Malicious emblem.

I NEVER DC. I only give up on hooks when I see nobody doing gens and just running around or hiding. The match feels hopeless and I don't care about a worthless group. Next game

I've been looking for complaint threads about that challenge because it also took me all flipping evening yesterday. Couldn't find any, maybe I'm just blind, but I'm really glad to know that it's not just me being bad at killer and that other people are also struggling. I'm so glad I got the challenge done. Now I just need to kill 10 obsessions, see you next year.

Aside the note of you needing to get the Iri devout, I've been getting rage quitters from time to time like yesterday I got at least like 3 rage quits in total through my matches. Again you don't need 11 hooks to get Iri Devout, you just need to hook survivors 9 times, getting an extra hook would help as well. Good luck man and trust me it can't be worse then the Devour hope challenge, cause that looks rough.

I actually hadn't thought of using moris. That feels even scummier than having to slug for the 4k to get iri devout, but it might just be what needs to be done. Thanks!

Trying being on the survivors' side when one of your team mates does this. Last night we had a Huntress on Rotten Fields. We had three gens done before she got her first hook. This Claudette goes down and she dc's. Had not even been hooked. We had three gens done. We were on Rotten Fields. Red rank player, too.

You must be thinking of a different wiki. The DbD one is accurate. Could be better if people who see problems with it were to speak with the admins about it or even help improve it directly, but it's accurate.
