Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Another nerf to huntress???

Just realized with the exhaustion being completely removed when hooked, the add on venomous concoction is completely useless. Might as well use berus toxin that is cheaper and does the same thing. The whole 1 min 30 seconds venomous concoction does is now completely negated by being hooked. So the only use you will see out of it is hatcheting someone and leaving them alone and coming back to them somewhere between 30 seconds and 1 min and 30 seconds before the exhaustion runs out. This nerf may not have been intentional to huntress but it really sucks and I think huntress has seen enough nerfs.

Another reason to revert the changes from losing exhaustion when hooked. Not to mention getting a free sprint burst to the exit gates if someone insta saves. With a free sprint burst and bt you could literally cross the entire map before the killer could catch up unless you play nurse or hillbilly.

Yep, the hook resetting exhaustion is basically just catering to the survivor masses that want more extra chances on top of extra chances.

They will probably rework her AddOns at one point. She needs a second ultra rare AddOn and I wouldn't be surprised after taking a look how Wraith causes Mangled like Sloppery Butcher without stacking now, if they might rethink her Hemorage/Mangled AddOns as well.
But hard to say when that would happen considering that other stuff should have a higher priority like Freddy e.g.

I don't see anywhere in the patch notes where being hooked removes Exhaustion, so it seems obvious this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

It was intentional, just one of the shadow nerfs to killer. Devs like to avoid typing them out in the patch note in order to avoid angry killers doing some weird ######### like another killer strike

The huntress hitbox change wasnt mentioned either even though it made her completely useless, they even had the balls to not include this in to PTB and just shadow patch it live

how dare the game punish them for mistakes!

For me it is just another reason to camp more.. or harder/closer.
Soft camping and patrolling -which gives survivor a chance to unhook- will get punished, but real hard camping won't.
So I go play Mr.BingBong whispering "better save than sorry" to myself for 2 minutes in front of the hook.

They "forgot" to put it in the patch notes in the game. He huntress hitbox nerf WAS in the patch notes on the forums. But who goes to the forums to read patch notes?

found another shadow nerf to her and im actually kind of mad now. all the barriers on the autohaven maps have been raised so now you cant hatchet over them. all they have to do is crouch and they are completely safe. idk how long it has been a thing but i know you used to be able to hatchet people even if they crouched.
im not too sure about this maybe im crazy but all of the barriers are just high enough now to protect them

I think it is a real bad sign for the state of the game that the Devs avoid putting things into the patch notes.
These kind of shadownerfs make the community lose their trust in the Devs.

That wasn't done to nerf hr but to give survivors a los breaker after they started thinning things out and for the pallet tweaking.

That might just be an incidental nerf that was unexpected since if you think about it you should be able to crouch low enough on some of the heaps.

There usually is only one spot on the autohaven loops where you can hit them crouched.
It all boils down ttrying to bait the survivor into that spot into the right time, but good luck if he is aware of that spot

Has been a thing for quite some time now....

That train has departed long ago
I couldnt care less about minor shadow nerfs if we got the DS rework at least

Yes but it's more useful in chases to prevent sprint perks aside from Sprint Burst from being used. And considering SB seems less common than the others nowadays it seems a good tradeoff imo.
