Is Blight considered 'boring'
I've been trying to get adept on Blight for a while now, and almost every game theres a very early DC. Is blight the newest killer considered boring or am I just getting unlucky.

There's DC's against any killer. I'm watching a guy do a bare bones challenge series on YouTube at the moment with killers. Currently he's playing Myers with only Shadowborn equipped. Nothing else. No add ons either. And he gets a DC almost every match. Red rank killer, too.

Probably unlucky. Blight is actually a lot of fun to go against (if not using Compound-21), since his Map Pressure generates because of the Mobility and not Chase Powers without reasonable counterplay.
But I have seen Survivors DC against Clown, so...

Nah it seems like the overall consensus is he is a fun killer to play as and against. That’s just dcers doing what they do best no matter who you play.

He bows to the mighty pallet and can't do anything other then follow the survivor like a puppy at most loops so no, survivors love him. he even has counterplay in an open field because a tight turn will avoid his rush.

Depends on what you consider fun. I find him extremely boring to play vs. His power is mainly for mobility and can get lucky hits if random obstacles spawn correctly and/or if survivors don't know how to play against him properly which isn't that hard.
Most of the time it's the same boring M1 gameplay loop with occasional "me run fast so me get free hit because map spawn good" paired with fun you can't do gens until ruin goes down minigame.
Still even when I'm bored to oblivion when I vs him I don't dc vs any killer or some other dumb reason like that.

You were probably using the wallhack addon or abusing some perk in an unfun way.

As with a lot of the killers, Blight is really fun to play against when he's trying to use his power aggressively to attack survivors. Also like many of those killers, he is less fun to play around when he chooses to exclusively use his rush for mobility and otherwise only chases like a bland M1 killer.
I think the most exciting killers in DbD are the ones that encourage you to think and play differently in order to work around their powers. Blight fits well in this category.
Good luck with the Adept Blight though. While it still only took me like 3-4 matches to get it (and I only barely got merciless when I did achieve it), it was pretty frustrating due to how generally awful his personal loadout is (Blood Favour sucks, Dragon's Grip was bugged, and Undying is underwhelming when not partnered with a strong hex). But hey, I did manage to do it with only Common/Uncommon add-ons (meaning no Compound 21), so it'll work out eventually!

I had turning add ons, and his base perks because as I metioned I was going for the adept. Also even if I was using compound 21 how would the survivor even know that to DC before they even get hit.

I mean, clown isn't very fun to go against for me either, because his gas hurts my eyes, but I don't DC against him.

Personally I don't think he's fun to play against but he's definitely not boring. Frustrating against certain add ons.

Actually, I will load into a match and have my game crash super early, and this has happened when I play as killer. I really doubt anyone would dip 5 seconds into a match lol. And I personally LOVE the blight. He's fun to play against and the character design is horrifying to see when cleansing and repairing

Have no idea if I consider him fun to play against. I haven't played against him since the PTB when I last played survivor.

Compound 21 should be an iri. So if they are running that, yeah, it's boring.
Otherwise, he's really fun to go against.

I dont enjoy him either whenver i land a hit with his power i feel like " well i only landed a hit cuz survivor was not running towards me"

You're either bad at using his power, or are facing killers who haven't learned how to use his power correctly yet. Blight is actually pretty good.

DCs are an epidemic again because they disabled the penalty for some reason. Happening to me with all killers if I'm winning. As far as I've seen hes not hated.

If anyone wants to DC it's the killer. By far the worst killer in the game! At least on console.

No, his power is weak and extremely limited. It only works half the time, instead of slamming against walls he just slides off of them. He's also the easiest killer to deal with when I play survivor. It's an absolute joke.

Sorry bud - you're incorrect. Most top tier killer mains agree he's actually a good killer. Not top tier by any means, but he has a high skill ceiling. A skill ceiling you're obviously a mile away from.

I find him to be as fun as a good ping Huntress or a Billy. He brings something different to the table rather than what we normally see.
The most dangerous part of the chase is traversing to another tile since he can rush you.

The devs need to start banning hackers. It shouldn't be allowed but they keep ignoring this serious ongoing problem that's ruining the game.

By arrogant morons, probably. Blight is literally the fairest killer since Huntress, except even more so because he is actually able to pressure gens in the flesh instead of relying on crossmap hatchets.

They nerfed the original version. It was 16 meters range for 6 seconds, now the description is 8 meters range for 3 seconds. So it's the same range now as the Purple add-on that lets Blight see auras within 8 meters while Rushing. (16 meters for 6 seconds was overpowered, it's like Doctor's Static Blast with half the range but it's constantly firing versus having a 60 second cooldown. The new version's range and duration is more reasonable.)

Tell that to this blight main, who can use his power to deny most loops, and use his mobility to b-line to a BBQ aura, because it is the best mobility in the game when used correctly.

Lol, OhTofu is literally one of the top rated killers out of all the public Steam profiles. 7k+ hours, consistently rank 1 killer and survivor, 824 million bloodpoints earned.

Being a streamer doesn't make someone good. If anything, streamers are the most whiny and self-entitled babies. Always DC'ing and demanding nerfs to killers. These are the people who thought Ruin was OP and cried until it got nerfed for crying out loud.

None of those streamers said Ruin was OP, I remember specifically Otz, Tru3, Scott and Tofu saying that totem placements need to be better cause ruin gets cleansed almost immediately and that still happens today because I loaded into a game and found a hex totem spawn beside me as survivor.

Yeah totem spawns are broken as hell. As a survivor I spawn next to them, and as a killer I can't reach them before being broken. Again, this is one of the problems ruining killer but the devs refuse to touch it because they're too biased.

Again. Lol. I never said OhTofu is good because he's a streamer, I said he's good because his player stats I linked above indicate he's good.
Also I've never seen Tofu disconnect or demand a nerf to killer. So I'm not sure what streamers got you so salty but he wasn't one of them.

I find him somewhat boring as the few that I have faced weren't the best. I honestly feel safer when he activates his power because its so easy to avoid as long as you stick to loops and other debris. However, DCing is not the answer to facing a killer you find boring.

Blight is a really fun character to go against, just not when literally every single Blight player uses the same build (ruin, undying, tinkerer, bbq). I wouldn't DC against an adept Blight but the same exact Blight over and over that's also using the green add-on for aura revealing, then yeah. I am just gonna kms on hook. I'm. Bored.

I mean, most survivors use a variation of the same build, as well. Now you know how killers feel.

That why I did purchase cells to complete my tier 70 and not playing both side until the next tome so that way I can do my easier challenges when I be rank 20 instead of red ranks because it not easy to do those hard challenges on red ranks.
