Rate my doctor build?
With the addition of undying i wanted to try to go for a new doctor build idk how many people main doc but i think this is pretty good. Undying Ruin Pop And tinkerer. Doctor i don't think needs tracking with his power and i can keep gens regressing by making people insane so they don't work on gens. Tinkerer and pop i can just use when ruin and undying do eventually go if they do. Idk about tinkerer though thinking if theres another better perk i could use.

pretty braindead build, works on basically everybody

yeah but i thought itd be best on doc since he doesnt need tracking unlike other killers and has antiloop built in.

Ruin and Pop together? Braindead.
We are not early 2019.

You can't go wrong with the Undying,Ruin and Tinkerer combo on any killer.Although this combo performs better on killers with high map pressure/mobility.
Same with Pop and Corrupt Intervention.

Not worth dedicating 3 perk slots to gen regression though; since in reality only 1 of them is going to be in play at any time (ruin or pop).
I honestly haven't been liking ruin + undying too much without a map offering. I have still had the combo die extremely fast on the older maps due to the exposed totem locations.
Since every killer is spamming it, I have also been seeing a ton more small game / rainbow maps being brought into my trials. Just 1 rainbow map means ruin + undying will be gone within a minute or so into the game.
Tinkerer is good, but I find it to be a bit overrated on M1 killers? You get the notification, drop whatever you are doing, go over and collect just a basic attack most of the time. Compared to killers like Billy / Leatherface who can use the tinkerer proc to get an instant down.
Pop / Thanatophobia / Tinkerer is the superior version of the combo if you feel you can get downs fast enough to run it. Thanta / Dying Light are the only perks in the game that actually give you more time to reach the tinkerer procs.

This build can be good on any killer but in my opinion doctor lacks the map pressure and mobility to really take advantage of that

Ruin and pop don't go together. I'd switch pop for STBFL, since Doctor is an M1 killer

Why would you ever use Thana as killer other than legion and plague?

Does not really make that much sense this Build IMO. Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer is a Build for Blight, but mostly because Blight can actually take advantage of Tinkerer, because he can cross the Map fast. This cannot be said about Doctor. You might hear a Gen being done with Tinkerer with Doctor, but you might not be able to get there.
Also, you are using PGTW and Ruin together, meaning you are playing with 3 Perks the entire game. And you are using Undying to protect Ruin, this means that you will only be able to use PGTW when Ruin and Undying are gone.

Thanatophobia is actually criminally under rated. It's actually in my Doctor's main kit (that and STBFL). So, Doctor has great information and anti-loop, everyone knows that. With Thanatophobia you can guarantee people will be scrambling to heal against you because of your insane loop ending, but it takes slightly longer because of Thana. I use Thana instead of Sloppy because if they decide not to heal, they can't gen rush effectively.
I'm really bad at explaining things, but long story short, it's actually one of my best perks. It always has been reliable, and it won a lot of my Doctor games.

I can't play Doc without STBFL. Boring af without it.
My Doc build is: Sloppy, STBFL, Haunted Grounds, Pop.
Haunted grounds is great. I have 1-2 free downs pretty much every game.
And if i want points i'm using BBQ instead of Haunted.

my build with doc is corrupt and pop as in every other killer then i use whispers to not miss any m2 and then i like to use BBQ for the points, it also gives some good info all the time but it could be thrilling tremors aswell is nice casue you can shock pick up the person profit they cant work on those gens for 16 seconds... since they have to leave the gens for a second due shock. you could also use save the best for last its nice. (as in every m1 killer)
i dont like ruin because i dont like hex totem perks in general... much risk to get rewarded. undying changed teh meta a bit but still they can break 2 totems at the same time if they are coordinated.
addons? i like to use discipline it haas a nive passive and helps with loops then i use electrodes to block further loops for survivors u also can forget about not reaching with the shock wich is also nice, i only use yellow versions tho i dthink the green and purple are kind of mess up strong but still.

It can be well used on any killer who runs it with sloppy butcher or a mangled add-on. Or any one-shot killers. Using it on plague is a waste because then it's only impacting gens instead of both gens and heals.
I like it because it goes well with the current meta of tinkerer + gen regression as it gives you some extra time to make it to the tinkerer procs. I am not sure what the actual number is, but with a few stacks I would guess it's a good 5+ seconds extra to make it to the gen before it pops; which can be critical on 115 killers who can struggle to make it to a tinkerer proc in time.
I typically run it with mangled/broken add-ons for leatherface. My favorite build is Pop + Tinkerer + Thanta + Monitor and the 90 second broken add-on. Then every chainsaw is 90 seconds of thanta stack, and it's a waste of time for them to heal against the chainsaw anyways.

Has nothing to do with being doctor and would prolly work across the board.

If you're already using Undying to protect your Ruin you definitely don't need Pop as a backup. I would switch it for whispers, on of Doc's best perks.
It's great for finding survivors, and you can use it to guarantee you'll get value out of your static blast since you can just wait until Whispers lights up before you let loose.
You could also use BBQ for the information and extra BP.

pop and ruin together are wasted

- Pick The Game, Midwitch or Hawkins
- Ruin + Undying + Unnerving Presence + Distressing
- Purple Calm + Yellow Calm or Red King / Queen
- Profit!

Honestly, not bad but not great. Ruin is only good on mobility killers, otherwise you won't be able to interrupt half-decent teams. Add onto that the fact that Tinkerer removes half of your power and Undying gives you info you should already have and you can start to see where the cracks lie.

Don't listen to what the people saying "braindead" are saying. Run a build that works for you. Don't pay mind or attention to entitled players who call you braindead for it. There's counters for literally everything you mentioned. They just choose not to run them.

Ruin and Pop makes sense, Ruin, Undying and Pop seems like overkill. Your totems should last long enough that you could take 2 other perks.
Whispers is good as it means you won’t waste static blast, corrupt works better than pop with undying, ruin since if you get a large map like red forest you can pressure the eary gens for Ruin to take effect.

That depends on the map. I'd say basically any slowdown is overkill with Doc if you're on say...The Game.
But on mother's dwelling? rotten fields? I mean, at the end of the day, Doc has no map pressure.
