Killers trying to hook survivors

I have so much trouble trying to hook survivors since the update because the hooking process won’t activate. I literally have to mash the hook button for it to work. It will start for a second and just stop like 12 times and then fully activate and hook.

Agreed. Near impossible to hook survivors now. Please fix ASAP.

I have the same issue on PS4. Multiple killers, happens inconsistently. If I drop the survivor first, I can immediately hook after I pick them. However, this mean losing survivors who are last minute hooks or unwanted slugging if I know I can't make it.
