Desperate Measure doesn't boost self-care healing speed.

The healing bar of healing show up red, which shows that it is slower than 100%, but the perk build makes the healing speed above 100%. This should show a yellow bar instead of red. The picture shows a build that should make self-care 104%, but it shows up red with no healing debuff.

    56+33+9 = 98

    98% bonus / 50% modifier = 49% bonus

99% speed is still in the red

Small addition the fact that your desperate measures is tier 2 also means the max speed would only be 95% which would also still be red

Umm... It is 50+9+12+33, which is 104, above 100.

If all survivors were injured, then it would be 50+33+9+56, which is well above 100, but it still shows up a red healing bar. You're forgetting that self-care heal yourself at 50% of normal healing speed.

No its not. Healing speed doesn't increase the raw value, similar to gens. Here's how its works:

Healing yourself with a brown med-kit will put 1.0 charges on your proggress bar, taking 16 seconds to fill it.

Self care heals you by 50% of the normal speed, so that means you're putting 0.5 charges per second, taking 32 seconds to fully heal.

    Now with the perks:

Resilience: Grants 9% speed, so it will give 0.045 extra charges

Botany Knowledge: Grants 33% speed, it will give 0.165 extra charges per second

Desperate measures: With 4 survivors injured, it wil give 0.28 extra charges per second.

And self care: Will give 0.5 charges per second.

These values don't stack with others, it will get the original charge value(0.5).

    The result: 0.045 + 0.165 + 0.28 + 0.5 = 0.985

So, with all these combined, you will be healing with 98%(0.98 charges per second) efficiency of a normal healing, and when in any action such as repairing/healing etc... if the charge Is less than the default one(1.0 c/s), the bar will be red.

    @bjorksnas @Kees_T

That is actually really good to know.

Self care is a 50% modifier and base, meaning healing speed = (base + bonus) / 50%

    100 + 9 + 33 + 56 = 198%

    198% / self care modifier of 0.5

    99% max healing speed

your forgetting that slower than 100% = red bar which proves its a modifier mathematically

cant hit gray bar there is a 1% speed difference and even that little amount is enough to keep it red

Kind of weird that self-care reduce the effects of all other perks. I wish it was just plain addition base on the wording but there is a lot more that goes into it.
