Why can't people be neutral?
I hate always going through these forums and seeing nothing but bias. I don't care which side you main. Just be civil, and not a complete jerk about it. Can it be annoying when you just pop a gen and noed hits after you swear you got all 5 totems? Absolutely. Can it also be annoying when you are about to get a 4k and someone has a key? Absolutely. Neither side is perfect. This game isn't perfect. This isn't bashing the dev's either. They try their best, and while I understand their best isn't always enough to satisfy everyone at least they try.
Anyway I guess this was just all one big rant. I don't care how much you agree with me. People have different opinions...accept that.

We exist. We’re just either few in number, or avoid those horribly biased posts altogether.

People should be like Switzerland.
8 -
And that's another thing I've I've realised is that a lot people know answers or know what they're talking about, but are drown out by all the nonsense spawn by the more vocal.
9 -
I do what I can, but we are talking about humanity here.
12 -
Lol. True

Humanity is a disease

As a liquor retailer, all I can say is this:
"Individually, humanity is quite smart. When put into larger groups, this disappears almost immediately where the loudest are usually the dumbest."
6 -
Whoa you're a liquor retailer, a pig main, and a claudette main. Jesus you're covered on all basis. Lol
Sorry couldn't help it. That's actually really true and amazingly worded.

I’ve repeatedly explained how Blood Favour is fair and balanced as a hex perk and also having a cooldown, with additional stalling benefits BECAUSE it is a hex, but 100% killer mains don’t want to hear it.
Their main insinuation is unless it blocks all pallets, all the time, so that survivors can NEVER use a pallet, then it’s an unbalanced perk.

I want blood favour on my wraith. I think it will add to the affect of surprising, also have third seal, Franklin's, and stbfl. I find it really fun and nasty at the same time.
2 -
That's what they call the vocal minority. Most people in the community are probably relatively unbiased or reasonable enough to consider the other side's perspectives (if they only like playing one role).
Unfortunately, the players that do sometimes act a little "Entitled" tend to shout louder than the rest of us. Though if you come across an argument between two of these kinds of individuals on opposite ends of the Fog, it can be funny to watch the chaos unfold.
As Mark Twain put it: "Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."
2 -
You know I knew there had to be some intelligent people playing this game or on these forums. I just hate seeing the bias. And I'm not calling your average player or forum goer dumb, but some people don't put any thought into their responses
1 -
The problem is, the ones who are the loudest usually drown out the voices of reasons. There have been many times I've had an opinion on something, and instantly get called a survivor/killer main because of it. I play both sides pretty much equally, but when your opinion doesn't match their own, you're a main of some sort. I just try avoid going near those kinds of posts now. You can't just have a civil discussion with some people anymore.
2 -
Honestly it's not just with this game anymore. It's with everything, and its ridiculous.

You mean rig your mountains to blow as a deterrence and arm your populous to the teeth?

I consider myself neutral (or at least I try to be) and there are definitely other neutrals out there. I can't speak for everyone but I tend to be a bit picky with what threads I reply to and other times I just don't care enough. In fact most of time I just don't care enough to reply.
I'll see some threads and just roll my eyes and move on because what's the point in replying when it's going to get drowned out or the OP is just someone looking for a hugbox.
I've seen a few threads with nothing but happy overly supportive replies and I wanted to jump in and be the bad guy with a post just to stir up some conversation, even when I agree with what the OP is saying.
I go back and forth with a lot of things as well. I can't tell you the amount of times I've written up a long ass reply to something and then deleted it because I lost interest or in the process of writing I realized I didn't believe what I was typing. Just my indecisiveness kicking in I guess.

No. It's a discussion forum, not a "everyone agrees" forum.
I Love debates, I don't like arguments, but debates can get heated and I feed off of them.
Let me feed.

I'm not asking that everyone agree, but at least acknowledge that different people have different opinions. Instead of getting all YoU'rE wRoNg And I'm RiGhT.
1 -
That last part is totally me too.

Because people just assume you aren't. I call out stupid shite on both sides, but I rarely do it in the same post (because that's absolutely stupid) so toxic people that like to ruin everything and attack you as personally as they can instead of providing any form of counterargument just automatically assume I'm a "main."
0 -
I've surprisingly never been called a main of either side. Probably because I don't comment that much cause of those people.

Do what I do, grab some bourbon, popcorn, and gasoline to help fuel the fire.

I prefer rum. Or Scotch. Preferably aged.

You've got some banger taste mate.

right this game not perfect neither is Humanity with online game like this we get thing like this.
glad I play both sides understand everything everyone

You can be neutral without agreeing with petty gripes of both sides. Just because I play both sides doesn't mean I think you shouldn't get off your ass and cleanse dulls before you whine about noed.
5 -
Haven't had a thread like that before.......

I've worked for Dan Murphy's for 5 years. You should see my current stash.

You've made me so thirsty lmao.

This. Many people will call you biased if you look at things objectively and recognize that one side has it worse (as is almost always the case) because they think being "neutral" or "unbiased" means either praising or bashing both sides in the same sentence.
2 -
Hard to be neutral when one side has more glaring issues than the other, even if you play both equally.
1 -
Lol the getting annoyed at the key when you’re about to 4K part is really funny! Please share with us more entitled killer information to complain about! Ridiculous 1v4 and the 1 person is always expected to have a good time while the 4 people die every single game with zero hope except doing 5 generators. It’s not always possible to do 5 generators with 4 survivors. Absolutely ridiculous way of thinking that shows absolute 100% entitlement for killer mains. 4K or you complain. A key cost someone bloodpoints. A Mori cost someone bloodpoints. Everyone deserves a chance to escape when their objective becomes near impossible. You are not just handed the 4th kill because you got 3 of them. That’s not how it works. Quite frankly I don’t want to play a game like that.
0 -
Insane the way people think with zero consideration for the other sides enjoyment of the game they paid money for. It’s not all about the killer getting his 4K. Jesus Christ they make it so easy as it is 😤
0 -
Recognizing the problems on both sides and that one has it worse is being neutral.
2 -
Humanity will always seek out conflict and with how we dominate this world the only meaningfull conflict we have left is with other humans
How would you best use it? I've been having trouble getting use out of it.

This is sad, but true. Glad there are people out there who are actually civil and neutral.
0 -
It shines best on killers able to get hits in in between tiles. Survivors are either damned if they don’t realise it’s activated and loop any nearby loops with a pallet, or they’re damned trying to run to a further tile out because they’re still likely to be hit before they can get that far.
It’s also AMAZING on The Game when hitting downstairs, but they run upstairs for those safe pallets on the left. It’s just an all around great perk on Gideon. Hit them in the bathroom? That hallway with the two god pallets becomes a death sentence.

In this community, people can't be neutral because it's always easy to blame someone else for their issues.
0 -
Being neutral is getting called a "main" of the other side anytime you say anything someone doesn't agree with. Most people don't want an discussion, they want to be right and they want an echo chamber.
The number of times I've been called a killer or survivor main for pointing out things like DS or Spirit being a bit too much is too high to count. As stated above, I just got tired of it and now I'm a little picky with what I respond to.
Being neutral is a endangered and generally quiet breed. Being biased is plentiful and loud.
Sad, but what can you really do. You can't make people neutral. You can't make them listen to reason when they have an army of bias behind them ready to back them up with the same mentality.

I try but sometimes you see how clueless some people are, and they instead of trying to have a decent discussion they just go the easy way and call you entitled X main.
I try to help people who actually want some advice and have good discussions but you usually see people not wanting to do that.

Sounds like something a biased killer would say...
0 -
selfishness, lack of knowledge and no ability to mentally extract yourself from a debate.
0 -
But isnt a biased one sided Opinion also a Opinion you should accept :D
0 -
I feel this so much when I make informational posts and every person from one side or the other jumps down my throat(Like with my 2nd chance perks effect game speed post).
0 -
Bet some of the people here saying they're unbiased are actually biased. We've seen your posts.
0 -
Thanks dude, I'll give it a try
0 -
I can't drink yet. But thanks for the advice. Lol
1 -
people aren't neutral because neutrality doesn't exist.
In fact, everyone thinks this:
I don't care how much you agree with me. People have different opinions...accept that.
or, to be more explicit: I have my opinion which I think is correct (hence: objectively true). You can have yours, but I don't care about it because you are wrong (if you don't agree with me).
1 -
I accept them. That doesn't mean they don't frustrate me.
0 -
Theres a difference between thinking my opinion is constantly right and being flexible to see other things that could happen. See I understand now that I worded it in a way that makes it so it seems like I'm stubborn and don't actually care about other opinions, but that is not true I love seeing different opinions. I just hate the constant straight up fights on the forums because people can't grasp different sides sometimes.
