Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Michael Myers add-on changes

Hello everyone I would like to share some ideas for what I would like to see to Michael Myers, “The Shape,” in the future.

My suggested changes are to first make Michael 4.4m/s (110%) at Evil Within 1. Not sure why he is so slow from the start. Maybe because of Lore? yet Pyramid Head is 4.6m/s. I have seen many players suggest to increase his stalking speed and make it faster to get out of Tier 1 but I feel like increasing his movement speed would be the better option. This will also be buff for his Scratched Mirror add-on, since it was slightly gutted. For those that didn’t know, Michael before they introduced the “Undetectable” status, he was unique because, Spine Chill and Premonition didn’t work on him while he was at Tier 1.

Add-ons: His add-ons are more close to fine and don’t need much of a change. He currently has: 2UR, 4VR, 5R, 6UC and 3 Common. The Goal of the Devs is for every killer to have the same amount of add-ons (2UR, 4VR ,5R ,5UC ,4C). Michael is fairly close to these numbers and most don’t really need much of a change. Here would be my suggestions of the add-ons that can stay/changed rarity:

(1)Ultra Rare: Fragrant Tuft of Hair (Stay as is)

(2)Ultra Rare: Tombstone Piece (Changed from VR to UR)

(1)Very Rare: Scratched Mirror (Stay as is)

(2) Very Rare: Judith’s Tombstone (Changed from UR to VR, as Tombstone Piece is the better option and stronger)

(1) Rare: Hair Bow (Stay as is)(Underrated add-on btw)

(2) Rare: J.Myers Memorial (Stay as is)

(1) Uncommon: Dead Rabbit (Stay as is)

(2) Uncommon: Hair Brush (Stay as is)

(3) Uncommon: Memorial Flower (Stay as is)

(4) Uncommon: Jewerly Box (Changed from R to UC)

(1) Commom: Blond Hair (Stay as is)

(2) Common: Boyfriend’s Memo (Stay as is)

(3) Common: Jewerly (Changed from UC to C)

Here are my version of the rest of the add-ons reworked/changed:

(3) Very Rare: Clown Mask (New)-

An old plastic clown mask used back in 1963

  • You start the trial at Evil Within II
  • You become obsessed with one survivor
  • When the exit gates are powered, gain the ability to kill the obsession
  • Only one obsession per trial

(4) Very Rare: Lock of Hair (New)-

A cut lock of blond hair bunched with a black elastic

  • Pause Evil Within III timer when holding a survivor and gain Undetectable status
  • Undetectable status remains for 12 seconds after hooking a survivor

(3) Rare: Judith’s Journal (Slight change)-

A journal identified as owned by Judith M. Myers. Most of the pages are defaced with frightening and disturbing drawing.

  • You become obsessed with one survivor
  • Moderately (Or Considerably will mention later) increased the rate at which evil is gained when stalking your obsession
  • Give no indication that the Obsession is being chased
  • Only one obsession per match
  • Stacks

(4) Rare: Bob’s Glasses (New/Changed)-

A pair of dull glasses with a different view of things.

  • Considerably reduce the Terror Radius of Evil Within II.
  • Evil Within II reveals the aura of survivors who’ve been stalked for at least 1 second
  • Aura stays visible for a duration of 5 seconds
  • Stacks

(5) Rare: Vanity Mirror (Changed)-

A standing portable vanity mirror in perfect condition except for a fine layer of dust and face powder covering it.

  • Trump aura reading and detection perks when in Evil within I & II

(5) Uncommon: Glass fragment (Changed)-

A tiny piece of tinted glass, probably from a broken object. It is impossible to determine its origin.

  • You become obsessed with one survivor
  • Give no indication that the obsession is being chased
  • Only one obsession per match

(4) Common: Reflective Fragment (Changed)-

A tiny piece of highly reflective material most probably from a broken mirror.

  • slightly increases the rate at which evil is gained when stalking your obsession
  • Stacks

There are two more changes that I would like to see to Michael. 10% increase in breaking pallets/breakable walls at Tier 3 and this other one is optional. Get a slight increase at which evil is gained when stalking the obsession by default, if yes leave Judith’s journal as Moderately. If no, change Judith’s Journal to Considerably. I know players wanted to see Michael get an increased in speed at Tier 3 but that can be pretty game breaking if you think about it. I feel like stalking the obsession should be the only way (aside from add-ons) where Michael can get out of faster of Tier 1.

Take these changes with a grain of salt as these are some ideas I would like to see to Michael. Please for the love of Jeff, don’t nerf him. He doesn’t need that. Let me know what changes you like/dislike. :)

Also, give him this outfit. It was in Halloween 1978 so it is possible. ;)

Awesome! Nice level of depth, too. Seeing how badly Myers aged in DBD I think we can agree he is due to some changes.

Those are great ideas. I´d throw one more on top of them : Reduce the stalk penalty when stalking from range a bit. It´s too harsh, imo.

I also want to point out how creative you were with the new addons. They fit well into his theme of having huge diversity.

Hope they read it and maybe take something from it!

I am glad you like them! I would really love for them to look at him as he seems a bit “outdated”. Ghostface is better at stealth and Oni does his job a lot better. He can now be in between. I got most of the ideas on how he acted in the movie.
