People dont like the new BL.

Just wanna mention it:
With BL nerfed, the Structures are fine. I mean, people are complaining about Haddonfield, but that will be fixed with the BL Nerf. As well as Grim Pantry, Crotus Prenn... No problem here anymore, all fixed, BL is nerfed, the Maps are now balanced.
At least this is what I will write in every Thread complaining about one of those Maps.

Crotus Prenn Asylum is nowhere near fixed, that building is easily abuseable even without BL.

I know. But apparently it is brought up all the time when people talk about Balanced Landing. So BL is the problem I guess.
(Of course its the Map, nerfing BL will make none of the Bullshit Maps better for Killer)

It's undeniable that some of those maps still have very strong loops but I also can't deny that those maps did get a nerf with these changes.

Because it was unfair on maps like Haddonfield, where survivors would create infinites with no counterplay because of the stagger. The change is a really good since now people won't spam Haddonfield offerings with full team of Balanced and completely ruin a killers game. And the function of the perk is the sprint burst you get, not the 75% stagger reduction. It also keeps it in line with all other exhaustion perks so it's more consistent. Overall it's a good change for the game.

The perk was going to get nerfed inevitably anyway..even hawkins one of their new map designs was making balanced landing too powerful

Yes and what should be realized is there will always be tiles that bl makes too powerful..the new map designs all have spots like that so instead of erasing every tile like that making bl effectively meaningless..now it's just not abusable

But seriously, if you start workin on a map. You have to face this kind of issues. But instead of keep going you try to fix them. And if you think the map is finished, you have to test it. And if BL is may to powerful for this kind of map you try to fish for an solution. But naaah - we did a pretty good job so far.
Out of Topic, but hitboxes ma dude. And please dont tell me its an connection issue.

Playing atm Survivor cos of horrible killerqueues.
But back to Map designs and BL. Here we are, again.
Some examples:
Abusing the Harvester is still a thing, even without BL.
The Underground Complex - Room with 2 Stairs - Still OP if you know how to run properly, even without BL.
Maps spawning with Dead Zones, kinda stupid.
Crotus prenn, Father Campbell's Chapel and more maps like this still out of control, even without BL.
Killershack, with a Junglegym near and a safe pallet loop. Great if you ask me.
I just see laziness...

Examples for laziness.
Buffing one Killer with garbage and the killer can be better garbage. From B tier to B tier.
Nerfing one strong Killer, makes the others automatically better xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.(that one got me bro).
This one i would not call laziness, but something else. Nerfing everything around gen rush and we still have gen rushs. XDDDD
But bro, put Ruin on. Yeah thats true, most of them are scared to push through Ruin. And i dont think they will find my totem. Because the placement is so good.
upcoming patch notes: bL nerfed, hitboxes still trash, D-servers 2099, map structures still spawning #########, new modi "try harder or get gen rushed", dead hard fixes "you go down instantly by pressing the button, but grants no longer the exhausted effect", Sprint burst needs to be activaded now(thats sounds OP - just a troll, cos im on fire), a Perk(dont know the name) for trying harder to bodyblock at the hook. And of course more Cosmetics YAAAY.

abusing the harvester: right now it can be, but at least on ptr they re-added the hay-stack lunge trick which makes the harvester a dead zone
Father campbell's? is a very balanced map in comparison to most of the others.

it's obvious that you're new to the game before it did have a pasta defect which was the balanced Landing party along with the burst of speed genius. They nursed it so people like you can have a easier time

It was particularly for the Haddonfield map I believe.
Here was the problem with Balanced Landing. It had the potential to make certain loops that have survivors drop down broken with Balanced Landing while those loops were manageable if the survivor didn't have Balanced Landing. So to make these kind of loops not potentially broken when a survivor uses balanced landing, the devs would have to balance those loops in a way to make those loops more or less useless for when you don't have balanced landing.
With the new, nerfed balanced landing, that is not as much of a problem more. In order to make such loops balanced for survivors with balanced landing the devs don't have to make those loops completely worthless for survivors without balanced landing.
That was surely the idea behind this nerf.

yeah that was the idea but instead now it's just this garbage thing that nobody uses meanwhile Killers go around and complain about literally 6 perks meanwhile we have to worry about a list of things. so you telling me if the killer doesn't like it it's not fair but the Survivor doesn't like something its fair game?

my whole thing is they have changed things in the map that alters the flow of House of Barbers run and everything now they place Doors by like every window they boarded up a couple of map doorways. You guys have bloodlust and killed his can hit air and It will count as a hit. So what's stronger than that? By the way I do play both so I understand what some guys are saying but at the same time it's so easy being killer.

What kind of conclusion is that now? I explained to you why the nerf to balanced landing was probably done, and why I personally believe the change wasn't bad, because it allows for better or at least easier map balance. Again, making elevated loops not broken for survivors with balanced landing but at the same time not useless for survivors without balanced landing.
How do you read into something like that that I'm saying everything killers complain about is unfair and everything survivors complain about is fair? You really, really need to learn how discussions work. But I guess you are just one of millions and millions of people that nowadays can't have any rational conversation what so ever, because all of your thoughts are just completely emotions driven.

No the boost is the same as the Sprint burst and BL cant even be use in some maps

I'm well aware of that. Though, usually, when someone says they've been part of a community it means they've actually interacted, so being a part of the forums means they'd have interacted, which you cannot do without an account. Hence my question.

The point was the Stagger reduction was what made the Perk incredibly annoying to deal with.
When it came to places like that disturbed Ward or haddonfield the main issue with it was never speed Boost. It was the stagger reduction causing a lot of the problems as this allowed survivors to effectively create a pseudo Infinite.
It might not seem like much but you would be surprised how much that little stagger actually helps the Killer close the distance on the survivor without the stagger especially on haddonfield where the killer was kind of forced to Vault it meant that the survival was always either making distance or keeping distance.
Now in essence you could just say rework the maps so the stag reduction wouldn't be as impactul which is something that can be done however to do this you would have to make the map a lot more dangerous to people who don't have balanced landing

I said right now it doesnt have a passive effect. Because you need to activate it to get it. Therefore its active effect instead of passive. Before i had passive effect and it was decent enough to run. Now its useless on majority of the maps
