Stop putting nerfs in bugfixes.
- Fixed an issue that caused grabbing survivors out of lockers to be accelerated when using the perk Iron Maiden
Really? I thought this was intended. Its a perk slot for you do pretty much do everything in a locker faster like reload hatchets or i thought grabbing someone out of one. Just i guess another "unintended effect of the perk" like survelliance.

People use Iron Maiden?

Huntress for faster reloads.

Seems weird to not have that stay, yeah.
Only thing i can think of is that "opening" is something different than "opening, grabbing and putting on shoulder".
Which i find quite the nitpick, it's not like the Perk's amazing anyway.

I thought this meant that if you grab someone as they enter/exit a locker.

It never used to speed it up; it was a more recent bug, for sure. And a totally fair thing to fix, tbh.

Already one of the perks which is rarely used then they do "bugfixes" that removes even more power from the perks.

I mean under that logic guess it shouldnt increase hatchet reload since your grabbing hatchet off wall and putting it on belt so meh.

Yeah but even then it's mediocre.
Grabbing someone out of a locker with iron maiden is so uncommon people were literally farming for it when it was a challenge.
So maybe for the 1 in 100 cases you lost those .5 seconds at the locker; don't see what the big deal is.

A Bug is a Bug, even if it is a weak Perk which is bugged.

Jeez how long was survelliance "bugged" for then... *bigthink* either way its really a case of the description then. If it only applys to opening the locker so why does it effect huntress reload speed? She has a addon for reloading the hatchets at a locker. (Im waiting for that to happen btw with this bugfix change)

To be fair, it would not make sense for Surveillance to give any information once the Gen reached 0, because a Gen on 0 cannot regress anymore. That it takes long to notice Bugs does not mean that they are not Bugs.
There where things in the past which were "good" Bugs, because they made Perks (or other stuff) stronger/better, but this does not change the fact that those are errors. And you would never know what those errors can cause in the future.

I didn't think that many used that perk.

I think the point is there are a 100 other bugs that should have taken priority. There are probably 20 otger perks that need to be adjusted before messing with this one. Its a weird thing to spend time on.
UNLESS theres a perk coming that would somehow make this actually an issue. Like the surveillance fix now makes sense with undying release

Can't wait for more "fixes" like that!
- Fixed an issue that caused Tinkerer to activate when all gens are completed
- Fixed an issue that caused Steak Out to not lose a token when succeeding a healing skill check on another player with Autodidact equipped
- Fixed an issue that caused Blood Pact to give the user and the obsession a speed boost if they were healing each other when Adrenaline activated
- Fixed an issue that allowed a survivor to exceed 150% movement speed when Adrenaline activates while Sprint Burst is in use

BBQ: fixed an issue that allowed the killer to see survivors' auras after hooking someone.

Maybe they are just bug fixing the perks to overhaul them because the spagetti code was holding them back from changing them without being overly buggy
1 -
Possibly. If so, they should really come out and say that instead of applying these nerfs with no further explanation.

Legally because of nda non discloser agreement they most likely can't
0 -
I mean they didn’t put a nerf in bug fix they took an unintended feature out and put it in bug fix
Why would the speed of pulling them out matter anyway?

I use it with BBQ occasionally.
