I'm going to bet that they'll be fixed when the fix is ready, hopefully in 2 weeks as both have been confirmed to be high-priority issues.

DS because it's easier to reproduce than the hook bug.

They will be fixed in the same patch, but I guarantee that survs have the priority as it isn't just DS that is broken, but all killer grasp escape stuns.

And just from how the two bugs happen I'd say the DS bugs seems easier to figure out. It happens with certain killers, and it happens to all "wiggle off the shoulder" stuns. Maybe it's the killer's frame or something? It's pretty specific and consistent.
Meanwhile the hook thing seems to just ... happen. Seems harder to investigate and figure out.
But that's not relevant of course. Clearly one getting fixed before the other is some sort of bias /s

Same here. I never experienced the Hook-Bug in any of my games as Killer. And currently playing a lot of Killer, because I am prestiging Blight.
I experienced the Hook-Bug as Survivor exactly once. Killer was able to drop me and hook me just fine afterwards.
The DS/Stun-Bug on the other hand...

I wouldn't say childish, as some of the stuff in game makes it evident that it's in the survivor's favour. However creating threads like these, basically insinuating that the developers care more about the survivor side, attempting to provoke an argument on survivors vs killers IS childish.

Both will be fixed at the same time in the mid chapter, they wont just leave hooks bugged in the next update

What is actually wrong with hooks? I have played a lot of games since the patch was released, but I had no problems with hooking people.

It is possible that when pressing space bar to hook someone, nothing happens. It can be solved by either spamming space bar or dropping the survivor and picking them up again.
I personally never had it, but saw it on different streams

Its not just hooks and it's not just DS stun... sometimes you cant vault windows or open lockers as killer same breaking pallets.... and its now known as "off the shoulder bug" for me because a i got a flashlight save on a spirit and the person was downed right after because it..

I got stuck in it trying to get a survivor out as ghostface. So i think it was anyone with that hitbox.

So it didn't only affect killers then. Also, I was able to spin out of it as survivor the one time I was stuck there.

It's not survivors vs killer, it's the devs having double standards and also slow responses to serious issues.

Well, I can only speak for my own experience. And my own experience gives me the conclusion that those Bugs are pretty rare. This does not mean that they should not be fixed, but that Killer is not unplayable because of those Bugs.
And furthermore, it would not be surprising if players, who claim to ALWAYS play against 4 man SWFs which are ALWAYS godlike Survivors and ALWAYS use DS on them if they are NEVER tunneling, that those players are also a little bit exaggerating how frequent those Bugs are.

The devs haven't formally acknowledged the huge stuttering issues that everyone is getting as well as many other bugs that got pushed to live and have so far just told people their computer isn't good enough so I wouldn't hold my breath for lightning-fast fixes.

I think it comes down to exterior factors aswell. I might get it alot, but you dont, so that could mean I might have a lower ping than you or something else. I don't think killer is unplayable, far from it, but I do believe, along with the ds bug, it should be a higher priority.

Happens to me every time I play killer, and it’s more of an interaction bug because I’ve experienced it with pallets, gens, and maybe vaults too, but hook is most prominent and the rest have only occurred few times. I’ve seen it happen to a couple killers that tried hooking me. I’m on PS4
- Vault bug only happened one game, pallet only once, and gens could be I’m not hitting at the right angle ? Maybe it is just hook bug and I’m crazy.

Can we just hope that both of these issues are recognized and patched ASAP? Because both are actively making the gameplay experience worse for pretty much everyone affected by them.

I made this post because is a race against two team in Devs headquarters. They say it multiple time that they have many teams working at different problems at the same time. So that mean they have two different team try to solve those problems as fast they can.
That's why I made this pet what team can solve what bug first not right but first. It's was never about killer vs survivors. It's all about the effectiveness of the devs.

I'm honestly glad the DS but hasn't been fixed, and I'm an Avid DS supporter, I want it to be bugged for a while, to really show some killers this game isn't as survivor sided as they think.

Spaming a trigger (I play on xbox) does not work. When I get this bug I have to drop the surv at least twice, and very often they are gone off the shoulder with the second pick-up. Very fustrating, no matter the stun duration.

Both are literally being fixed today in 4.2.2. So, no, you didn't.
- Fixed an issue that may cause hooking survivors, breaking pallets and damaging generators to stop shortly after pressing the input
- Fixed an issue that caused stun durations to be inconsistent across killers
