FPS on PC has tanked

Just installed 4.2.0 and the Blight DLC on my PC and the fps has dropped to 1. Yes 1. On the previous version I was running at 60fps no problem.

I heard of issues on xbox; which I also have. However, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

I have a ticket in and support is looking into it. Hopefully they will sort out the issue soon. But I was curious if anyone else is having problems on the PC with the new update?

I play on low (because of PC specs) and for some reason the map is brighter which I don't like. Ultra is darker and medium is slightly darker than low. They need to adjust it so it doesn't give any gameplay advantage.

    Also, my FPS feels fine.

I notice random slowdowns (not stuttering but the game itself seems to be slower for a few seconds).

I figured out the issue. I'm using an Alienware gaming laptop with an external monitor hooked up to my Thunderbolt dock. Surprisingly many versions of Alienware systems do not use dedicated graphics via Thunderbolt. Hooking up the external monitor directly to the display port makes everything work fine.
