My thoughts on the new update that is coming out soon
Pyramid Head changes
I think these changes are good, makes the use of his power dynamic than just waiting for a Survivor to vault a window or drop a pallet.
Perks
Trail of Torment
Sounds like a really fun perk now, can't wait to try it out!
Forced Penance
It's slightly more useful, but I think most people still wouldn't use it.
Blood Pact
I like the change! I just have one question, is it whenever you're close to the Obsession? Or only when you heal them? Sounds fun tho.
Any Means Necessary
Great change! Exactly what I suggested and lots of other people!
Cruel Limits
In my honest opinion, it still sounds trash, but maybe I will be proven wrong in the PTB.
For the People
Nice addition, I just wish it would count as healing someone, so perks like Second Wind would activate...
Mindbreaker
I'm not really sure if the Devs know what the main problem with Mindbreaker is, it relies on Survivors to work on a Generator that is below 50% of completetion, also it relies on them having an exhaustion perk.
If they buffed the numbers to like 30 seconds, maybe I would tell that this perk is decent, but knowing BHVR they just increased it to like 5 seconds at tier 3...
This perk even with this change is still garbage and it always will be.
Slippery Meat
I really like the change!
Thanatophobia
Again, depends on the numbers, knowing BHVR they will probably just increase it to 5% or 6% per Injured Survivor at tier 3, but I think this is a good change, probably would become even more meta on Plague and Legion than in already is.
We're gonna live forever
Just yes, I love this change! I just wonder how much it increases the healing speed.
Technician
I kind of dislike and like this change, I like the removal of Generator explosions, but I hate the Generator repair penalty increase, punishing newer players more isn't the right choise in my opinion.
Also it still doesn't fix the issue why nobody uses Technician, it's because perks that are meant for newer players are locked behind a DLC, and before they could get this perk, they would already learn how to hit Skill Checks... (Vault windows, learn window vault locations, etc...)
Pop goes the weasel
I don't really mind that much tbh, sounds like a reasonable nerf.
Perk Rarity changes
This change proves that perk rarities should be gone for good, since with this change the perks would be easier to find, but the grind is slightly larger, because the rare perks now cost more.
Map update
Really like the concept art of the new map changes!
Now we just need to wait for how it looks like in the actuall game...

I think they broke Blood Pact. Killer's, prepare to see SWF's zipping across the map INDEFINITELY now.
Cruel Limits, agreed. Still not appealing.
Mindbreaker, indeed. It really doesn't take long to get 50% of the gen repaired.
Slippery Meat, ehh...I kind of feel like they should increase the base chance of escaping Trapper's Bear Traps if they're gonna make this change because as it stands it's usually impossible to ever escape them. I oftentimes find myself attempting 5 or more times with no success.
Thanataphobia, Yeah, I guess that might be an interesting change to see. I don't know about it being a meta perk for Plague though since everyone knows you just cleanse and insta-heal back to 100%.
We're gonna live forever, I don't understand this change..David's a meathead, why would he be able to heal people faster? Doesn't really feel right with the character or in general what with all the other healing perks but I guess at the same time it still isn't all that appealing either. Hopefully BHVR wont screw it up and give him +100% healing on dying Survivor's though..

I really hope the perk rarity change cuts down a chunk of the grind.

Slippery meat + luck offerings = 4 x deliverance guarenteed, no unhooks required.
I’ve messed about with current slippery meat and luck offerings/perks and every single time I try this build I get off the hook. When its buffed its going to be very powerful.
The developers balance for solo and SWF is the elephant in the room to them.

It's just going to increase the grind, albeit not by that much.
The only thing that's changing is that all the perks that were C/U/R are now U/R/VR, which means they all cost more BP at each tier.

I would say that It depends on how much of a chance increase is it.

With luck offerings and ace’s perk its guarenteed pretty much. Ace’s perk only gives a small boost so im sure whatever they give this it will be enough

So on top of 4 additional useless offerings added last patch to clutter bloodweb and add to grind increase grind on perks. Awesome.

It will pretty much do nothing regards the grind. It's just a small QoL change, unfortunately

The changes feel great! It may encourage players to try different perks and add some more tactics. Trail of Torment especially will create more types of ambush.
Personally, I'm excited for them. :)

It would actually slightly increase the grind, because the previously rare perks would now cost more at tier 3.

4-swf with all blood pacts will be broken. That will make rank 1 deathsquads completely ridiculous.

I think thats not gonna be an issue considering quite a few tier 1 perks are rare rarity.

"Hopefully BHVR wont screw it up and give him +100% healing on dying Survivor's though.."
[BAD WORD]..called it..healing is such a big deal in this game and BHVR's just giving it out left and right. They just buffed We're Gonna Live Forever to Cancerous Tier and killed slugging.

I imagine David healing people with WGLF like this.
