Are these perk changes really that good?
Trail Of Torment
I think this will be really unique and fun
Forced Penance
Broken status affect just doesn't work, If you chase the person who took a protection hit you dont get any benefit from this perk but if you don't chase after them they can just go do a gen. Maybe reduce the attack cool-down and apply deep wound when someone takes a hit.
Blood Pact
Seems ok, but I can def see survivors being able to abuse this
Any Means Necessary
Still not that good considering most killers kick strong pallets and only leave the bad ones
Cruel Limits
Still bad, it should block either every window or windows around the killer
For The People
Points!
Mind Breaker
Bad really needs some bigger changes than a simple number increase
Slippery Meat
Still complete rng really needed more changes
Thanataphobia
This is okay
WGLF
Yes
Technician
A good change but if it's supposed to be for new players it really should be made a general perk
PGTW
No Bad BHVR Bad! You just can't go around nerfing things that are balanced, well I mean you did nerf Billy and base nurse and they were balanced. BHVR has a real bad habit of changing things that don't need changing.

Okay. Not going to take a shot at you only because obviously its a couple people now but... there are 4 (maybe even 5 topics with this one now) on the front page of General Discussion that is someone's "hot take" on the mid chapter update. What's the issue with replying to one of those...?
Edit: Just to cover my bases against any "Nuh-uh"s

Because it is impossible to kick a Gen in 45 seconds? Honestly, you Killer Mains act like if they changed PGTW to regress only 5% instead of 25%. 45 seconds is more than enough to kick a Gen with PGTW.

Careful, you might get on their bad side and they'll camp some potatos to make themselves feel better.

If someone cannot use PGTW within 45 seconds, there is something seriously wrong with their playing.

I am a killer main and I am fine with the Pop nerf. It's probably necessary since I run Pop on literally every killer (similar to how much old Ruin was used, except you can't disable the killer's Pop).
The rest of them seem fine. I am glad they are finally buffing weak perks since the survivor meta is DS/Unbreakable/BT/Adrenaline/DH and maybe one or two other perks.
Can't make judgements about Thana yet since we don't know how much they're changing the values. Also sick of everyone immediately going to "omg these perks are still BAD! Pop is RUINED!" when it hasn't even been released on the PTB yet. Everyone needs to chill and just see how it goes.

If you think this is people's actual complaint there is something seriously wrong with your logical processes.

I don't think it's them being unable to but an attempt to justify the sheer momentum gain from - hooking one survivor, running to that far gen before it finishes - DOWNing the survivor that was on that gen, popping the gen, then rehooking that same survivor to run off to the next gen to do the same. It cuts Killer agency down because they have to make due with an M1 then return to kick the gen as you're usually not getting a 15s down unless they pepega super hard with the time needed to travel on larger maps. It's a valid nerf even if people who don't use pop think it's not going to change anything.
I will reiterate that I think the nerf is fine but killers only players will want to see their DS nerf (Perk disables once the unhooked survivor touches a generator or a hex totem or whatever else) since doing objectives should make you "fair game" considering the time crunch they have to play on. The "45 second for DS too!" meme is just shortsighted and not addressing why the game is unhealthy enough that a bandaid like the "fear of DS" is what makes killers play less scummy

i'm jealous coz i made a similar thread but for some reason i could only post it on feedback even tho i created it on the general discussion part of the forums ahah

Forums are busted theres a pinned thread with a workaround

Maybe you should even try to comprehend otherwise it is just your usual trolling.

well doesn't the pinned thread tell you to post in feedback ? i did it and doesn't work ^^

Then what is the complaint with regards to this specific perk? This is clearly a complaint made by people, so it must be at least one "actual" complaint. Momentum around it would still be available, and people tend to act quickly with PGTW anyway - well within 45 seconds.

If I remember correctly when the nerf for Ruin happened there followed some more Killer sided changes thereafter. It's a balancing act which is done gradually. So I agree with you that the nerf is fine, and really most people find a way round it and adjust.

It's more the fact that the less time you had the more you had to give up to kick the gen. I used to use Pop when it was 30 seconds for example and if you wanted to kick a specific gen you had to bolt for it often ignoring anything else that was going on or any survivors that were near you. Sometimes it wasn't worth going to kick the gen and you would get more pressure from just chasing a nearby survivor. the buff to 60 seconds gave you more options.
I know that's the entire reason they nerfed it but as a comparison it would be like if DS made you choose between doing gens or something else. Except it doesn't take any pressure away from the survivor, they can go sit on the gen and get the full benefit of DS.
