Idk man Im hoping It's a really short cool-down like 1 second or something but let's just acknowledge that if it isn't that short like 2.5 seconds or something his ranged attack is gonna be ruined

Honestly, it's not that easy to dodge unless the survivor is pretty far away. It seems like his power is going to be used more like Huntress than Doctor now.

this barely does anything, unless its a movement speed nerf when coming out of it to which my understanding its not so you can just body block the pallet or continue the loop and get a hit.

IMO the community is having a big overreaction to a nerf that has a simple counter and will at most introduce minimal counter play on the survivors part if they camp the pallet but even then there's a good chance you just hit them with POTD.

I did read the post. We don't even know the time delay added, so it's too early to jump to conclusions. With a reduced cooldown on a missed attack, I'd say we'll be seeing it used more, outside of animation locking.

Quite the irony that you want other people to read your comment while doing assumptions without knowing the exact changes.

I don't see what the big deal is. I main PH and honestly, I'm glad they're changing it. I doubt it's going to be a major slowdown, but I'm hoping it's enough to at least let survivors have a chance to dodge at a pallet drop. It just feels stupidly unskilled when I just smack them with POTD when they're animation locked. At least now, I can actually feel like there could be some skill needed.

If nobody is gonna take 10 seconds to just read this post can we please get a mod in here to close it like damn.

The projectile is the same with a shorter cooldown. All they've done is force you to commit to your mindgame more. I doubt his tier rating/viability will change at all.

Imagine people assuming that not being able to get free hits as a killer equals to "ruining" the power. This must be bait LOL

What good is the decreased cooldown when the attack itself is so easy to avoid due to a variety of reasons?

Also let me ask you this - can you name me any other killer who has a 1 second cooldown on their power?

In fact let me put it this way, a missed M1 attack has a 2 second cooldown. Do people really think POTD will have anything less than that? lmao. I'm going to guess 2.5 seconds maybe.

The reason why people used the power to zone and only in animation locked times is because the power is easy to dodge and is just clunky to use ,they are trying to get people to use his power more ,without actually addressing what's wrong with his power and why people use it the way they do.

    Quote for truth.

If only the people "balancing" him played him for more than 5 minutes they would understand this.

honestly i dont think itll be that big of an issue? like for people who use his power to zone zone zone then yeah theyll be hit hard but for the ~2 pyramid head's out there who use for skill-based shooting and prediction theyve only been made stronger. im fine with these changes until i see the exact numbers or gameplay footage, at which point my opinion my change.
