How do I pip in red rank
Im red rank but I’ve been stuck at 4 with 1 pip for months now... I always get higher rank survivors so I end up unhook a decent amount of people but one particular game I had I ended up unhooking myself and unhooking and belong everyone else twice and then did the gens and escape but yet I managed to lose a pip..... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. I can never pip no matter how good I do and I just want to know what I’m doing wrong and how to pip because im not gonna go out of my way for survivors who don’t unhook me just so that I can lose pips

Are you getting chased for a good bit of time every game? I typically follow a rule if I'm trying to pip called the 1-1-1 rule. I go for completing at least 1 generator on my own, or the equivalent of such, unhooking 1 other survivor throughout the game, and finally being chased by the killer for at least 1 minute in total. After I've done that in a game I can then do whatever I please and boost my bp gain. Typically by following this, I pip. I will say though that it is usually more fun to just play to have fun, especially in solo queue. Rank is something nice in the game but also something I would not say you need to worry about too much.

what platform are you on and do you participate in crossplay? I'm on pS4, rank 1 survivor, and once I joined lobbies in crossplay I noticed a difference and I had to adjust my gameplay a bit in order to continue pipping.
