Pyramid head needs a better buff.
The patch notes said he lost his ability to fake his m2. Ok, fine, whatever, I thought it was fine but I guess not. But then I see he got a buff. And its kinda bad. Why would I want a faster cool down on an ability that sucks? They should have buffed the actual ability rather than the cool down. There is no incentive to use it as of now.

Yeah if the attack isn't that great what does a shorter cooldown matter?

Already found the ultimate buff haha
Even with that weird bug everyone escaped fairly easily.

While their intention wasn't to buff or nerf him, the change they did was definitely a net loss. 1 second extra recovery on attack isn't worth losing his reliable anti-pallet/window hit. His attack needs to be faster to land as well to even this out.

Can we just wait until the PTB to judge whether it's enough or not?

I don't want to be rude or anything, but I have the feeling that they don't think too much before they change stuff. The reason people use POTD on windows/pallets is mainly because it's almost impossible to hit decent survivors if they're not stuck in the animation. They really need to reduce the delayed hit of POTD and everything will be fine. Especially statements like "we don't want to strengthen or weaken him" bother me when in the end it is a clear nerf.

They are trying to prevent using his ability to zone ,which is basically what his ability is only good for besides the ability to hit survivors stun locked.
They want people to use his ability more ,but ignoring the reasons why people use his ability the way they do, they have not bothered to adjust what makes his ability so damn punishing to use and they are nerfing the only main other viable way of using it, they need to fix or alter his ability to make it viable to use out of two scenarios ,but nope they are nerfing one of those scenarios. Yes scoring hits through walls and stuff like that his fun and requires predicting survivors movement but effectiveness is often altered by luck and survivor skill.
They ignore the simple fact his m2 just sucks.

Just make it if they are tormented they are one shot by his ability. Now people will always want to use his ability.

But then all you've made is an oppressive noob killer. Against the average player it won't do much.
1 -
Yeah, they're thinking in the right place but this wasn't the way to go imo. Still gotta hold off judgment till we actually get our hands on him.

If the faking time is as short as huntress or demo he'll be just fine.

agreed, you cant maneuver it much and survivors can dodge it easily because its slow shockwave that even notifies them before firing
1 -
The sad thing is they'll go through with this and then leave him this way for about 2 years.

And then this killer will become a Clown with pinky finger just following you until you're exposed. No thanks.
0 -
you can already tell that its trash, nobody uses his attack outside of survivor animation lock because dodging it is super easy because its sluggish af and even tells you where exactly will it go

I would like to remind everyone that PH can hit through walls. That alone is enough for his power to be more than useful. His torments also allows him to bypass all camping perks which is unfair. They are more than likely not going to be nerfing him enough.

Yes, but his attack is telegraphed heavily, meaning you can see where he's going to shoot, which means you shouldn't be getting hit outside of animation lock if you're a good survivor.
1 -
That's like saying he shouldn't ever miss if he is a good killer.

His attack is extremely hard to hit normally, its nigh impossible to hit around walls without something like "I'm All Ears", his ability to ignore survivor hook perks comes with the fact he can't get nearly as much out of killer hook perks like BBQ and Pop.
1 -
Well, you can see where he is going to shoot before he actually attacks, as a big red line shows up on the ground, giving you more than enough time to dodge it.

hey, i know this is asked a lot, but could we, ya know, maybe wait until the changes are on PTB before jumping to conclusions?
we dont even know how much of a cooldown reduction it is / how much of a delay there is after cancelling his power.

Without some kind of sound or visual cues, he would for certain have no counterplay, like a deathslinger.
0 -
He has visual queues, he has to put his sword in the ground.

lol you can tell who has played PH and who hasn't.
The aiming is terrible, the attack is fully telegraphed and even has travel time, the hitbox has to be very precise as well. A survivor just doing a slight wiggle to the side is enough for it to miss.
