Unbreakable nerf that doesn't change the strong effect of the perk

Unbreakable, Recover from the dying state 35% faster, grants the ability to fully recover from the dying state once per trial, If you use this perk to fully recover from the dying state all perks go on global cooldown for 180/150/120 seconds

Still works with soulguard all though will still put the perk on cooldown (unless unbreakable was already used in which case this perk can still pick you up with no cooldown)

Global cooldown means you will be perkless for 180/150/120 seconds (does not affect broken states caused by perks)

Meaning if you pick yourself up ds is disabled, no iron will, no dead hard nothing. The perk still has its strong effect but now it has a considerable downside of being weakened for a while after

    I'd say too harsh. The reasons this perk has seen much more use is its anti-slug intention plus the devious combos possible. Take those various pairings away and Soul Guard replaces it until this treatment is applied to that as well.

    Most will also see this proposal as an attack on DS I bet.

    different suggestion:


    if using UB to recover into the injured state, your aura will be revealed to the killer depending on how many other survivors are alive but downed. like, if you are the only one left, no reveal, if three are alive and downed, no reveal. if three are alive and none downed, 30 seconds reveal.

    Its either make it have a drawback or give it something to activate it because picking yourself up from the dying state for free is way overtuned for a single perk but for some reason people think its a balanced perk

    UB doesnt need a change. Its DS that need a change.

    Why does unbreakable need a nerf? It's pretty situational and only overpowered at tournament level play.

    It just punishes certain killers playstyles like oni and plauge who use their power to snowball and its effect is too strong with no requirement from the player to get its effect

    I think all perks going on cooldown is too much. I'd change this to disable all dying state perks and give Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds. This removes all the second chance perk + UB combos that end up being overpowered. This will kill the dreaded DS+Unbreakable combo while not affecting perks that don't synergize with it (you shouldn't lose access to perks like Botany or Up The Ante because you used Unbreakable).

    However all this could end up being completely unnecessary or even overkill when the inevitable DS nerfs are announced (thanks to the reasoning behind the PGTW nerf and the dev comment). The combo could be dead already and we don't even know about it.

    I agree it should be like deliverance where you have to meet a certain requirement to activate it.

    This perk is literally only busted with DS. No need to bring every other perk combo down with it.
