couldn't we be able to do something against facecampers?

It's a shame that the game encourages ######### play like that, but it is better to either DC or genrush against them; they won't pip off of a noed pity kill and a camp, and they certainly won't pip if the survivors DC.
This game has lots of dumb stuff that makes bad plays worth more (see hookbombing rewards).

Do you not think it is weird for a game to have a way for one player to be denied the opprotunity to even attempt to have fun. What if that unfortunate victim is you twice??? I think the game should not allow something like that

Fair game-when hooked, if the killer stands for more than 10/12/14 seconds within a 2/8/16 meter radius from the hook, his basic and alt attacks are blocked until he stands outside the radius or after 2/3/4 seconds after you're unhooked

Yes you can only DIE

You have time to do all the gens if a killer camps someone out entirely.

Unfortunately the only solution that could be implemented to stop this would be abused by survivors.

This would be bad for endgame.

Bunch of scrubs. I've saved plenty of ppl from face campers. Even solo cuz the other allies got scared and left.
I don't want to tell u how I did it though becuz I am a survivor main who views survivors as the camping aggressors and the lonely killer as the victim who gets demonized for playing the game.

It’s something that they want to have added

Why don’t we just bring back the old method but make it so that it stops working if the the killer is in an active chase or if there are non-dying survivors within a smaller radius as well. Also the killer is unable to hide their terror radius when in that no sacrifice progress zone. Obviously, there would be a timer for like 20-30 seconds then the effect would activate (the radius of which sacrificing will stop if the killer is in that zone out of chase) and remain there until the killer enters a chase for at least 20 seconds/downs a survivor in that chase. The killer would need to enter a chase to get that kill but doing so would bring them away from the hooked survivor, while others can go in for the save. Idk if you can think of a way to exploit this on either side Lmk. I might not be seeing everything.

Easy... timer stops if the killer is within 10 meters, and an unhooked survivor is invulnerable to damage for the first 5 seconds after an unhook. And make borrow time work regardless of the killer being in stealth or not. I run into this “strat” so much when a ghostface will just hide and go into stealth.

I mean, truth be told, you aren't necessarily entitled to an unhook hence why camping even is still part of the game. If they wanted to give you 3 chances they wouldn't have you go to another stage if you are on the hook for too long, and camping would be nerfed. If I was being camped, I would make sure I last those 120 seconds. Due me having something called kindred, if I'm being camped everyone and their momma knows it and they rush gens and escape.

Could we be able to do something against toxic players in general?? Like tea bagging survivors or better can we get a report system that actually works!? Probably not, I feel like devs are fine with toxic behavior. And the proof is the existence of the end game chat.

Face camping and tea bagging aren't toxic, it's the intent that actually matters. Someone could easily abuse that system
0 -
then why keep it?
0 -
Why keep what? Face camping and tea bagging? Because they are part of the game that isn't problematic, if you have issue you need thicker skin or in the case of face camping git gud and move on to the next match
0 -
No end game chat since it’s easily abused.

You can turn it off

true, but it was obviously made just to mock with no repercussions...since there’s no really is no actual report system. Can’t report the guy with speed hacks, can’t report the guy who does the lag switch hook glitch, the is no actual punishment in this game or community. It’s exactly why it’s so #########.

Yeah you can, do an in game report and submit a ticket, along with video evidence of the game
0 -
I’ll believe it when I see it
0 -
Uh you know that you can just google it right, they even have it on the forums

You know what to do, last as time as you can hooked, and then ....
0 -
Ph they prevented camping by moving the cage when ph gets to close and the fact the cage goes as far away as possible. So when you hook a survivor the entity could pull them into the ground and have the hook appear as far away as possible.

I honestly hate that every single thing a killer can use gets complained about. Tunneling I can understand a little more than facecamping as tunneling isn't 100% detrimental to the killer like face camping is in 9/10 situations.
I was playing a game recently and I had a SWF with two medkits, one flashlight and a toolbox. I was playing pig and the first thing that went down was me losing ruin in under a minute. I then found the team together and watched as they tried to finish the generator in my face. They would run at me to give the others time but luckly I had save the best until last. In the end I had two helmets on the team mates and three hooks.
Long story short over the course of that game I got about two more hooks before the gates were open in about 3 minutes. I had one on hook, obsession dead due to disconnecting (which I assume was just to ######### over my save the best till last but luckly I hit him once with an ambush and grabbed him mid vault so I actually still had 8 tokens) and what do I see but two people bum rush me, one of them with an active helmet on their head. I had NoED so instead of being body blocked and forced to watch them rescue them off the hook with my dick laying limp in my hand I ended up getting a four kill.
This is the best case scenario and it was because I used equally cheap methods as they did and because they made HUGE mistakes. Had it not been for that I would have had no chance. Had it not been for Save the best till last and NoED, even facecamping would have done nothing as they were right next to the gate and they could just body block me and run away with the speed boost they get for being hit. If it weren't for facecamping their split up and keep each other informed over comms would have allowed them to get away with three escapes and if it had not been for Save the best till last they would have been able to take protection hits all day and simply turbo heal up in a moments notice.
You say being facecamped is not fun. Well facecamping isn't fun either. So it's a zero sum game. It is a tactic people use to secure a kill they need. whether it is to stop themselves from losing a blip or whether it is to attempt to win the game. The game is in too much of a survivor favored state to take even something as situational as facecamping just because it makes survivors unhappy. I mean for ######### sakes, 9/10 its either causing them more harm then good or they've already lost any chance to get any other kills.

Everyone I report hasn’t been baned. Ntm jumping through this many hoops just to actually report someone clearly shows that the report system in place is obviously a joke.
0 -
Never said it wasn't, just said there is one in place and people have been banned
0 -
So we can't punish DC survs, they lost all BPs
0 -
First: Not many report systems in games give you feedback on bans due to your report. None have to show you anything since it is meaningless and only feeds the ego of the reporter in the sense of "yeah I got that sob banned".
Second: This amount of "hoops" prevents people from report spamming which results in an automated report checking bot system like in league of legends which is even less reliable and vulnerable to false positive bans.
And additionally to my first point I know that you may be checking their profiles but who says that your reports where even ban worthy? There are already people on this forum who confirm that their report lead to bans, in most if not all cases about cheater.

I mean in that situation wouldnt it help the killer since they could just force the hook to another location. last ditch effort.
