PSA: Calm Your T!ts

Before you post something screaming like a 5 year old - for the love of the Entity please do some research!

The amount of posts in the last hour alone screaming how the devs are survivor sided JUST because they clarified text to say what perks actually do has just been depressing...

Gens no longer regressing when blocked? Survivor sided

WGLF now giving stacks for pallet/flashlight saves? Survivor sided

And for a last note: This is PTB - these changes havent even taken effect yet and are liable to change or not even go ahead!

Sheesh...

I've been here since June 2018. Please, everyone take notes. I beg.

The funny thing about the WGLF “buff” is it’s always done that just not many people knew about it so bhvr is pushing it as this new feature. Sad thing is now people are gonna try to spam flashlights and screw over there team more now. So honestly if I get those players while I’m killer I’ll be happy 😊. I was really hoping for a second wind style effect to the tokens. “Heal survivors for one health state and gain a token”

Yeah guys, just relax and look at BHVR's sterling track record! It'll be alright!

Were supposed to wait for the changes to go live before complaining? Do you realize how silly of a statement that is?

Voicing opinions on changes is fine. Screaming because the text of a perk now says what it does is just childish and unhelpful.

The majority of the comments I've seen are people who dont understand how perks work complaining that they now say what they do...

Most of your post I agree with. Its this bit thats nonsensical. Thats why i only commented on this part

Yeah dude in the entire time i've been playing DBD the only thing i can remember changing from the PTB was Billy's chainsaw. Maybe im wrong but the PTB feels less like a test and more of a preview

I think the whole point of it was to help out Solo ques, because let's be real it sucks being a solo survivor. I think the perk changes were meant to give solo a fairer advantage I think.

Theyve done more than that, but even if that were true it doesnt invalidate my point. Behaviours incompetance on utilizing their tools and listening to feedback doesnt mean that people should not complain in hopes that they get their ######### together

X may be unbalanced because of the "fun" aspect of the game ignoring the outcome. but the anger is from the fact that the dev's focus on nerfing the result instead of fixing the cause.

They are focusing on Pyramids cancel cooldown because that is what most of the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

is about instead of fixing his clunky movement and his slow and overly telegraphed power to make it useful outside of boosted rank 20s and animation locks.

It doesn't matter if i can spend 5 minutes "spamming" it at a low wall loop until the survivor finally stuffs up and runs into it.

They are nerfing pop for ....???? i don't know why

They are buffing wglf because it does need ways to get stacks but 100% heal speed on downed survivors?!?! again nerfing the result and not the cause. survivors hate slugging but killers must slug to win against good survivors.

Thana! terrible exchange nerfing it just because of the "fun" aspect. Time spent healing is extra time on gens. removing that and replacing it with essentially nothing is terrible. It should essentially force survivors to heal or suffer a decent slowdown

Hell, maybe I'm crazy, but I'd take PH being UNABLE to M1 if it meant you got to use his power in a manner which could more reliably land skill shots that survivors can't easily dodge. As it stands, people don't use it outside of animation locks or hallways (and the odd prediction through a wall, which is super satisfying and fun but is rare) because it's ridiculously easy to dodge. It absolutely should not be impossible to dodge, obviously, but the telegraph that survivors get is unbelievable. Survivors have less time to dodge a hatchet thrown from like 35 meters.

I don't understand all the outrage over the gen clarifications. This has been in the game for a while, the devs are just explaining it to everyone.

I've defo seen way more "reeee" for Deathslinger than PH.

Pop is more of a halfway between OG and the "overtune(?)" so cant be too mad. Plus, 45secs is still plenty of time.

Thana I'm actually optimistic for - more time spent off gens and healing seems like a win to me! Esp if survivors start self caring in the corner lol

As for WGLF... I dont really think it needs an extra benefit like BBQ - I think survivors would have accepted it just having more ways to get stacks (totems/gens/picking up survivors from ground etc)...

That's the thing though. The "buff" is so negligible that you still don't need to heal before you finish the gen and then you get the benefit of fast team healing and medkit heals when appropriate.

    • Devs announce a stupid change
    • Forums are in an uproar
    • "guys relax, they haven't given us specifics"
    • specifics come out, they're just as expected
    • "guys relax, it's still in beta, they can fix by the time it's live"
    • it goes live
    • "guys relax, they'll patch it soon"
    • it doesn't get patched
    • "the negativity here is so toxic, the devs don't deserve this"
    • "can we get a positivity thread here? the devs do a great job!"

This is the cycle I've seen a thousand times over from different game companies, it's fascinating to see the different iterations.

While I do agree that does seem to be the trend at times, my main point was to give reasoned feedback. A large portion of the posts are giving out that descriptions are now accurate??

Honestly the way this ptb is, they might as well just put it live, nothing is changing with this but the looks of mcmillans.

No, my tits are very angry.

On a serious note though, too many people are too quick to react to things.

C'mon guys give survivors a break. It takes 4x more the effort for a survivor to read than it does killer readers to do the same thing.
