The day DS get nerf
The day ds get nerf we the killers will be happy and celebrate and wanna hear all of the cry babies complain about it and quit dbd and see how is it feel like how we the killers feel about killer perks get nerf.
We all should get the equal buffed and nerf for all perks as well to make the game balance and it better to nerf all meta perks in a way on both side where it can make the game fun by having everyone use the other unused perks which there is like 90 perks instead of using the same boring perks so yea just make the game feel fresh.

Yea I'm glad they are buffing bad perks like mind breaker but you can't use it because surivor metta dosent let you play like that. I dont think anyone has ever said. Yea mind breaker was so useful to counter dead hard. Or wow forced pinical really crusher her adrenaline because they are so situational you dont get value out of it
Now being optimistic here i hope they are nerfing killers so they can introduce a new mechanic like how egc was to make the good killers not ok if there is such a change

Facecamping is fine and why because killers hate swf and every time gen rush happen especially to new players which is sad then they just tunnel and camp because they don't understand anything so you can't threat everyone the same and blame themselves to do that because it not easy to learn everything in one day and DS is use a lot in a abuse way not safe way and it boring and they complain they can't use ds because they been slug and especially when they don't have unbreakable and they still complaints about be slug so in the end survivor still complaints more than killers when they get everything they want when they don't deserves it. They deserves punishment like we the killers are dealing right now.

We already had that day when it got changed last time.
I can’t help but feel some killers do just want free reign to tunnel when they act like this. DS could be problematic at times but it actually wasn’t that often for me, not like old DS was.
These players that act like DS cripples them every game I’d love to see their playstyle.

The reason most people use ds is to not get tunneled, which most killers do. Thats why no one takes it off.

Imagine complaining about metas and DS/Unbreakable, when you also use meta perks and tunnel/slug first found survivor to his death. The irony.

Survivor deserved it for bully us like you can't tell us to not tunnel and slug and especially new players when survivors do gen rush and t bag and be toxic and you sound like if ok for survivors do whatever they want but when killer do whatever we want then that is a problem which is not fair and i see this all the time. But in the end you know DS do need a Nerf.

So it ok to Nerf all of the best perk killers use but not survivors like now only good killer perks are ruin tinkered and maybe still pop and some others but survivors got better like ds unbreakable sprint burst dead hard little and more so don't tell me survivors don't need nerf because they always get buff and killers always get Nerf but I guess you a ds player who always want killers to lose.

I mean, the biggest crying is for Survivor Nerfs and quite recently about the PGTW-Nerf. I also dont think that Killer Mains will be happy, they will just ask for the next Perk to be nerfed.

What ?? Survivors have always been nerfed every year. No meta killer perks have been nerfed. Tinkerer just had a HUUUUGE buff. It's absurd now on a fast killer.

DS isn't going to get nerfed, and here's why. I'm newer, but I'm also alright when it comes to chases. Just had a match against a rank 1 Pig, who was running the new ruin/undying meta build, and was literally abandoning chases to either camp the totem or tunnel people right off the hook. At the end, he pointed out that, even with DS, he was still able to take everyone out. That. That is why. It isn't the anti-tunneling god perk people claim it to be, and contrary to popular belief, killers don't tunnel because DS exists; DS exists because killers tunnel. The fact that they can still so with DS in play is why it isn't getting a nerf. Sure, it's great in the hands of super experienced survivors, and that's also why they've made it an offensive perk, but it exists BECAUSE killers choose to tunnel. When experienced killers tunnel, DS is even more necessary.

If I remember right remember me was nerfed because of EGC. BBQ and the killer meta perks are still the same but tinkerer had a huuge buff.
Meanwhile, DS was nerfed 3-5 times, self-care nerfed, balanced landing nerfed heavy, leader, etc...several others and that's only mentioning perks.

DS was OP but now it's just problematic. Self care needed a nerf because it was an infinite med kit. Balanced landing was nerfed due to its synergy with haddonfield.

When they nerfed Hex: Ruin, everyone & their mama complained. Yet, it was better. No one wanted to admit it, but it was better.
Now they make Hex: Undying & people are pairing it with (new) Ruin & that's the new meta. Which people are already complaining about & it's going to get worse as more people catch on. Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer... good luck.
Be careful what you wish for. You might hate Decisive Strike right now... but it can always get worse.

Yes true sometimes that was the case but iirc "enduring" did also affect the stun duration back in the day, at least at some point it did until they changed it to only affect stuns from pallets, however if I remember correctly you basicly knew who had ds due to the obsession status. Downing the obsession meant you will either eat the ds or try to dribble him/her to the nearest hook, you also knew about the 35% for the rest. Today you have to treat every survivor like they have it just because there is an obsession in the game.
Honestly I think DS should be reworked. I mean we all know the obvious flaws of the "just don't tunnel" but there are also other flaws. For example take the effect of using ds against diffrent killers and in my opinion it punishes again the rather "weak" killers more. A michael or any killer for the matter that can be looped with 115% has a bigger punishment than say nurse or spirit. Do not know about others but when I do play any of these 2 killers I am like "you think i give a #########?". The survivor who used ds will be down in a matter of seconds again.
Conclusion -> DS needs to be reworked to be truely anti-tunnel and no longer be possible to troll the killer but also made more meaningfull besides a stun. I know a stun can be horrible for some killers but for others it just isn't enough. So I propose to maybe give the killer a new status effect when being hit by ds which depletes his/her power bar for x amount of seconds in addition to the stun also preventing the refill. So on one side make ds stronger in the anti tunneling, give it restrictions as to how it deactivates by actions from the survivor him/her-self and by the killer meaning downing and hooking another survivor but also make it stronger anti tunnel so that it is clearly the dumbest possible play to tunnel people who use ds. Maybe even make it more clear who has ds. What do you think? This seems to me like there is appropriate counterplay for both.

Just as when the day comes that hooked survivors will only be able to be camped to some extent, or when you cannot slug when you feel like it because the game will automatically recover the survivor if they have been on the ground for long periods.

It's always been silly to me that DS should even exist in this game. You literally can only DS a killer if they're being a trashy tunneler after all. The fact DS is still basically meta when they nerfed it is very telling of the poor current state of this game. No one should even have to use the perk but when a majority of your killerbase tunnels, it's the only thing survivors got and even then it's not bulletproof due to its nerf and the simple fact that if a killer wants to tunnel you they'll still do it, DS involved or not.

You can be hit by ds without tunneling at all, to me seems like you are just a very bad killer or you do not know what tunneling is. Tunneling is no requirement to hit ds.

Nice generalization btw. Also personally if ds was made a true anti tunnel perk I wouldn't care about it, dead hard is predictable, so is sprint burst, I always for the unhooker, and unbreakable is ok on it's own outside of smol pp

Other perks are fine in my opinion but DS is a big target that need to be fix like no more locker grab and don't teased us to tunnel you.

I choose any way to fix DS if most important they remove the DS activated grab locker and gen as well and then that be fine with me so that is all im asking.

I can assure you i use DS because most of the time its a free gen and if i get slug i will just rise up and finish my gen either way im stronger when i recently get unhook and if the killer dont come near me i can do that twice each match that mean a whole 2 minute were i can do whatever i want but yeah DS is an anti tunnel perk

YOU took the bait, they lured you, you chased them, you opened that locker not them.
No one forced you to open that locker or go for the unhooked survivor.
Why would you punish survivors for your amateur gameplay? Makes no sense.

I’d have Dead Hard nerfed long before DS. I can play around DS whereas DH for distance kind of ruins low tier M1 killers.

The thing is, killers don't want it nerfed. Most killers know it's a necessary evil to combat tunneling, and 99% of us have zero issues with it being the ultimate anti tunnel perk. It's just the whole "Hey I can get unhooked, fully healed, and to 3/4 of a generator and still have DS" we have a problem with.

80% of killers do it to punish them because that what they want to piss killers off but when that happen then the killer only target is that survivor that ask for it and then will get tunnel and after that when survivor plan don't work out good then they DC when their secret weapon DS still fail on him so again why do survivors complains about tunnel too when they ask for it and then DC that is the most depressing move to do and im just going to say this to all survivors who do that who bully killers and that is don't expect a killer to not tunnel you and camp you when you was the one who ask for it and who lured him to you and piss him off big time just blame on your self that your plan didn't work well and when things like that happen to me I just use noed and blood warden as backup and that will piss them off big time which happen to me in the past and I really enjoy pissing them off.

Being honest most people's issues with Unbreakable come from it stacking with DS.
So by fixing DS it in theory should also fix people's issues with Unbreakable as well.
I never understood the Dead Hard hate but my main survivor is David so I probably have a conflict of interest when it comes down to discussing it.
