Invasion of the Body Snatchers!

*I want to preface this post that it is just crackpot theory fun, and not to be taken seriously (until it is serious).

I was thinking about the War of the Worlds, and how H.G. Wells got so many people to believe an actual alien invasion was under way by use of radio, and then later the various incarnations of Invasion of the Body Snatchers wherein we are replaced by alien pods. What if were all replaced by Bots?

I mean, let's consider the fact that the poor DEV have to listen to some of us complain day in an day out about Killer tactics, Killer Perks, Survivor tactics, Survivor Perks, Salt, and all that jazz. What if they quietly, and behind the scenes just routed all Survivor Players into matches with Bot Killers that had realistic sounding names, and since they list that console Globe, nobody would be able to talk to them or look up the account. It would just appear they were fighting a really NICE Killer that never camps, tunnels, or uses the dreaded Mori. All Killers could be routed into matches with Bot Survivors in the same way. These Bots would have a variety of Perks rather than the same old combo, and not be sweaty SWF.

So would this be the perfect crime? Would it be a good thing? A bad thing? I know it would be a more BORING thing. Games against Bots, even good ones, would be empty pretty quick. Sure all the Salt would be gone, but I suspect annoying Players of all stripes would STILL find something to complain about. Then the Bots could be dumbed down further. Spooky. So is this what all the whiners and whingers want? Do we WANT to be playing against Bots?
