How Often Do You Do This?
Specifically: The second sentence.
Of course i thought of it being used that way before, but i would find it such a waste of a Pallet.

In the middle of the match? Never. If you want to make a loud noise notification it's usually better to just vault something or use a locker.

I've done it to get killers attention if they're heading towards injured teammate that's on final hook.

never, pallets are too valuable to be wasted that way (plus it usually just gets the one doing it killed).
but believe me, as a killer there is nothing more annoying than someone doing that and then spamming the fast vault.
thats a whole nother level of annoying to the point where i just want to facecamp that dude to get rid of him (if he continuously does it).

Almost never personally. If i do it's only at the end of a match when i know pallets usefulness has come to an end.

If I'm running "Any Means Necessary" yes, I do it like twice a match. Other than that never.

Well yeah, okay, that's cause of the Perk. 😋

This is how the devs expect you to play their little party game. 😂

Usually there is a window or locker you can rush to get this effect.
I would do the diversion occationally if i'm feeling cheeky. Really funny with dance with me and looking at the killer being confused at a distance

The only time I've seen this happen is when I'm playing killer and get steam-rolled; a survivor will drop the nearest pallet to the exit gate and spam vault it to get my attention.
As a survivor, I've done it completely by accident in the middle of the match because I meant to do one action but ended up getting 2px too close to the pallet and dropping it instead. 😂 Never on purpose, though. I try not to waste pallets because I'm not the best looper, and I want to make sure my teammates have some if needed.

I usually try to save pallets. I did throw one down once just to set it back up while playing Yui. I also accidentally threw one down the other day. My fingers twitch sometimes and my thumb twitched and I threw one down xD;

I've always called it "pallet slapping". a form of taunting the killer next to the open hatch or the exit gate as a means to troll. Its unsportsmanlike conduct just like BAGGING in the exit zone (Butt dancing).
What makes this even MORE beautiful is if WARDEN becomes active with NOED and then smacking the survivors all down and they taste their own meds.
IMO I would love it if WARDEN was a lil more OP so that way survivors were forced to play with a bit more care and caution.

So yeah, close to no one does this to create a diversion.

I've probably done it twice ever.

I think I did it a few times when I started playing, but killers don't really fall for it any more.

I'd say close to never. I do sometimes vault a window to get the killer on me / distract them.
Seems like a waste to slam a pallet down as a diversion..

If you want to diverse the killer, jump in a Locker or use a Window. Why would you drop a pallet for that?
0 -
Sometimes. Usually when there's nothing else around and the pallet is weak in the first place. The new Yamaoka maps are a prime example.

I've seen it done in zones where gens are completed and 1 or 2 gens are remaining. The survivor will spend about 5 minutes fast vaulting the pallet if you do not successfully respond to their diversion.

Literally never.

I've done this maybe once on Hawkins you know the useless pallet upstairs

Never, I use the pallet to go for the stun or to slow a killer down who's chasing me.
