The rift punishes good players

Not trying to jump on the rift sucks bandwagon, im just pointing out a flaw in the system.

As the title states, the better a player is at the game, the more grindy the rift is.

Tying fragments to XP is a bad way to do it when their is a cap on the amount of xp that can be earned in a match.

Especially when certain challenges require multiple games to complete. For example, escape 5 chases. Good survivors can do that in 1 game. Where as i would probably need 5 or 6 games to do it. So for a good player that amounts to roughly 4 shards (1 for the game and 3 for the challenge). Where as i would get almost an entire tier just doing that one challenge.

If i were to finish this archive i would probably only need to grind 2 or 3 tiers to complete. Good players need to grind 10 to 20 or more.

And i know it's purpose is to keep people playing, but i have seen many people, myself included, say they feel that completing the rift is a chore. That makes the game less fun and thus they are less willing to keep playing.

At the very least, please change the xp system to allow more than the 600 XP, or change the fragment system to be 600 XP a fragment or a fragment a game.

Maybe have it so the challenges are enough to complete the actual rift and then after have a bonus rewards track that gives bloodpoints or iridescent shards or in game items.

Example. You get to level 70 with 15 days left. Now every shard you collect goes towards the bonus track that unlocks after you hit tier 70. Free to play whether you bought the pass or not.

Just my 2 cents
