Rush gen enough

That's 5 games.. click click, tbag, keys, abusive perks... I played Trapper, then Spirit, I never camped and always won, but here it was all red ranks (i'm purple) with mic and rush gens more DS, DH.. impossible to camp bodyblock, flashlight etc... And then you want to nerve the Spirit? Are you kidding???

Ok, Bubba can't be nervous now, perfect! Now I'm going to do it like this, I hook someone and he won't come out, toxic 100%. I invite all the people revolted by the RUSH GEN and those toxic survivors to buy Bubba, it's the best killer camp (need good perk like antibodyblock, flashlight..) !

We agree, 4 gens in 4 minutes of play, even with pressure, it's unrealistic ! Buy Bubba people, you won't regret it !🤗

When it's a whole team ? Ok for you, but for me it's annoying ! I play to have fun not to watch people tbag me while I earn less than them because I can't catch them because of totally cheat perks..

So I see you had a rough few games...I can get swf stacks frustrating but I think maybe if some people give ya some tips on combating those "Evil" survivors. I do know your a purple rank so your not new but I'll try to give some advice. First don't think you need bubba for camping and rather accept ya might lose and try to get as many hooks as possible. You don't have to camp, make a plan with your perk build(early game, chase, end game, gen builds)ask around many good players are here. I'm not a great spirit but(I don't know what perks you unlocked) try, Corrupt Intervention, pop goes the weasel, tinkerer, sloppy butcher....that's just one basic build but she has many builds that support her well. Now trapper vs. a swf, you might be in trouble...maybe look up Otz on youtube....I understand when people become frustrated they fall back to camping 1 at a time and hope they hook dive but really you won't get better playing that way. Now I've said all this but I missed the 4 gens in 4 minutes...WELL that sounds like an optimal swf team that people say is RARE...if you play consistently at night you will find them everyday...it can be a struggle but don't resort to the face camping bubba, it will effect your overall skill and build bad habits....see ya in the fog

Losing I don't care, it's them I don't like! This kind of team always save their friends, but with Bubba the camp is extremely difficult, maybe fatal for the SWF... I refused to play with Bubba because I found him strong in the camp, too strong, it incited me to camp... Today the game is difficult, for me Bubba is my main one today. If the team is not toxic I let it go, if it is toxic it will end up on the hook.

This kind of team, I often come across... bodyblock, flash, parchment (all totems destroys), loop, click click, tbag, perks DS DH... I understand what you're saying but I've already tried it, randoms teams normally succumb... SWFs end up escaping. With Bubba I've already had red rank 1 teams before, that's why I've just started a game, and I hope to find them again !🤗

Keep up the killing we need all that we can get....do whatever you have to, to get those Swf! I totally understand what your saying and keep up the good work

Gen rush is your inability to generate pressure. Its not the survivors nor the games fault.

The number of Bubba on a game is hallucinating, I wondered why? the answer is simple ^^

I just made a game, I took the survivor down to the basement, waited in stealth mode and already one disconnection... I got the rest of the team, it was a SWF I think. It's a good thing to finish the game like that against them !

Show me 3 gameplay videos in a row against a SWF and we'll talk about.🤗

It's really difficult to balance the game since survivors are divided into solo players and SWFs. And there is a huge difference between these groups. I hope I don't need to be saying why—it's obvious. I honestly think that if the game could somehow detect SWFs (not necessarily just 2 people), the game would be easier to balance. Like adding a more skilled killer in their lobby or giving them some sort of disadvantage. But again, ranks matter here. So it's not that easy.

gen rush is a problem with your choice making. YOU give them something else to do. YOU are the reason YOU get rushed. Start slugging and learn when to break away from a chase.

    Kumnut768 Member Posts: 789

if your getting gen rushed its a problem you caused, you dont get gen rushed unless you make bad choices, spirit needs a rework because she is extremely broken giving the same kind of results that rival nurse with no where near the same kind of input,

also i hate to point this out but did you ever stop to think the reason your getting genrushed is your camping basement

at the end you say show me 3 games of you versing a swf, go to anyone on the forums with more than 3k hours and they could provide you with like 12 games on the spot.

and seriously grow up its a videogame you dont need to cry when someone tbags you or clicks their flashlight

The temptation to camp with bubba is strong but try not to unless there's only one gen left, good luck man i hope you do well.

I hit the generators, I drop a chase when I don't have a map like Yamaoka... yes you know, the map where the Claudettes are totally invisible ! I spent minutes looking for the players everywhere I could, I couldn't find them, so the game was over quickly (I was Trapper). Is it my fault if the survivors are hiding and I have nothing to counteract that (only with perks, and we're talking about the mechanics of the Spirit...) ? You talk about pressure, but how can you put pressure if you can't find anyone ??????

It's been 2 years since I've been playing, I always adopted an aggressive strategy, I started with the Nurse... there was her nerve, then came abused survivor perks, others were already there but less known at the time, nowadays these perks all survivors have it. Are you telling me that you have never failed? HUH!

SWF teams are strong, because of these perks, I meet a lot of them. You can't chase someone and then go to the other end of the map hoping to find someone who has already been gone for 30 seconds (mic communication) ! I say it again, I haven't taken Bubba for a long time but today the survivors are equipped, they know loop, they have strong skills.

I cry? Normal, all killers get nervous, I bought these killers, and all this why? Perks that become terrible when used syncro! You're talking about Youtuber or whatever, just know that they lose before making a video where they win!

I just made a game by surviving, it will be the 5th Bubba high rank... people who understood....

I give up, it is always the opposite of the truth !

I remind you, sir, that most killers work with addons... and I need addons, it's just an example of the real mechanics of the game! The Trapper is the perfect example.

I didn't understand the last one..

The illusion that genrushing is the killer's fault is absurd.

Survivors can complete their objective in under five minutes even if one survivor is being chased. How is a killer supposed to apply enough pressure to stop that when most of the cast doesn't have mobility? If you are not playing the top 3, you stand almost no chance. People playing the top 3 killers are really just not playing the same game. It is simple math.

  • nursewannabe
    nursewannabe Member Posts: 1,075

If the killer chases one single survivor for 5 minutes and doesn't get him then it's totally the killers fault. If the survivor gets hooked, the snowballing and pressure phase starts, and that's when one is able to determine if the killer is good or not: being able to maintain the pressure while snowballing through survivor without just tunneling one out of the game

So yes, it's totally the killers fault.

  • Aven_Fallen
    Aven_Fallen Member Posts: 16,270

If the Killer is chasing someone for 5 minutes and all Gens get done, this is not the Gens being too fast, this is the Killer being too bad. Sorry to say that, but its up to the Killer if they decide to chase for 3+ Gens instead of dropping chase and searching for another Survivor who is overall weaker at Looping or is in a more unsafe area.

  • Jill10230
    Jill10230 Member Posts: 475

A united team will probably know how to looper, the purple and red teams... If you can't catch the survivor it means you're bad... if you can't catch all the survivors it means you're bad (according to what you said on the forum).... What can you do, apart from hitting the generators until next Christmas? With the sound problems in the game, like the sound of the injured survivor, even with Stidor and being next to the survivor you hear NOTHING.... You can nerve the killers but you don't solve the problems of the game which become big problems for the killers, because of that I lose the survivors!

The worst survivors are those who fix everything while hiding... and you can believe me there are professionals (the worst Yamaoka map is a playground) !

Seriously guys, no sense, like my english ! 🤣

Bubba is pretty trash at camping too. Especially against a co-ordinated swf.

If you hit then even a second after the unhook animation starts the survivor on the hook magically levitates off.

Try to get both and either the unhooked survivor gets i-frames because it counts as them still being unhooked, or they get BT anyway.

Try to go for one a little bit away from the hook and they’ll just make sure their friends rush in for the unhook.

Basically latency screws him pretty hard.

    timbologna Member Posts: 348

just camp if its literally a swf, theyre inherently altruistic and wont let a teammate die and depip. one will try to fake chase with you so another can unhook, pretend to go for the bait and double back for a beautiful hit or grab on the unhooker

Oh no no no no, it doesn't work with me anymore. They can unhook the survivor I don't tunnel, the person who unhooks will end up directly on the hook (or 60 seconds later to avoid DS), and if bodyblock I have the Legion's perk... I have eaten so much Boro, DS, and others that for that they can't anymore. The flashlight doesn't work with Billy's perk... The SWF come back everytime, thinking i'm beginner, but the reality is other... To camp I am very strong, very, very strong with Bubba especially in the basement.

If they save someone they are on the ground, no matter if the other person manages to flee, I have the other survivor on the ground. Usually, the teams refuse to open the door without saving their friend, and that's where it all comes down to... if I can get 3 on the ground, the fourth has the choice... run to the door, or be next... If you knew how many games I won by doing this, they think about everything except the chainsaw.🤣

EDIT: you can try with the perk of Pyramid, i dont remember de name in english but it give the Borken effect.. it's for me a good perk in the camp.

A 4k isnt guaranteed. Not all swf are toxic. Chasing a survivor for the entirety of the gens all being completed is a no-no. Whats the point of winning if you have to camp? Camping isnt outplaying people even if they're too altruistic. It's a scummy tactic and no better than them spamming flashlights and teabagging at every pallet or the exit gate. Each match will be different. As you play against better ranks, you will consistently run into more players who understand the mechanics of the game. Instead of focusing onhow mean and horrible swf is, try to have a more objective outlook on the game. Some people are butts. A lot aren't. You'll have good games and bad games. Sometimes youll have a long string of bad games. Im a purple rank killer as well and get the heck bullied out of me by red rank set most of the time. I keep trying. I keep learning. I keep adapting. As long as you get 2 kills, you shouldnt stress. If you were a professional then yes id expect consistent 4ks but you gotta work your way up to that. I hope your matches improve :)

  • Jill10230
    Jill10230 Member Posts: 475

When you have 4 survivors able to use pucks and windows, your game will never improve, it will always be the same, the same frustration.

Abusive perks like DS, DH, etc. will always be there, even the Rank 1 killers say so. A team capable of looper is a team that wins if the killer doesn't camp...

Do you have a video of several games showing what you say? Because as long as we don't try, we can't tell others what is not possible... for me it's not possible to win against this kind of team, and there are too many of them... too many!

I don't expect pros survivors to say that the generators are going too fast, I understood that the forum is dominated by survivors, but don't come asking for killer nerves, or better yet, camping when the survivor has the best counter attack trump cards of the game... Recently, the key is so frequent that we don't finish a game by the big door anymore but by the Hatch! When I play survivors I make 3 generators alone... while the two or three survivors (friends I think) are hiding to find the Hatch... That's just one example, huh.

  • Thrax

three gen. know when to drop a chase. try to influence them into going where you want. Make up where you lack with perks dont make your strengths stronger. Slightly outmatched choosing to save the problem for later while tricking them into running for a safe spot to waste their time instead of them wasting yours can get you the 4k. Go ahead and pick off the weaker ones just don't pick them off one at a time or gens will fly. If they won't heal and just go right back to gens slug one or two of em.

This game is about changing priorities and adapting. Figuring out who has what perks if you can and working around it.

Honestly I would rather just play another game than go in a match thinking "oh boy I'm so gonna camp and tunnel everyone!" .

Why waste your time playing a game you obviously don't enjoy?

You act as if it will make a difference. It is not about chases. Chases are usually pretty quick for me, but it doesn't matter. The gens will always get done quickly if survivors play efficiently. Killers do not have enough time to both chase AND patrol. Do not forget that most of the time killers cannot afford to swap targets as healing is pretty easy and you NEED to get pressure to do anything. Survivors are not afraid of the killer most of the time and will just do the gens while injured. Only against the top 3 killers do good survivors heal.

Also, if you read, I said EVEN if a survivor is getting chased, not only WHEN getting chased. Most good killers have no problem getting quick downs. If you think that killers should just "play Hillbilly/Spirit/Nurse/Hag" as the answer, those killers are not even playing the same video game as the rest of the cast and it doesn't solve the problem of gens are too fast for killers to do anything regardless of how they play.

Run NoED + Blood Warden or Remember me with a killer with high map pressure e.g. PH or Billy or maybe run one of those gross Pig endgame builds that make people ragequit.

    Exactly!

Tunneling someone early out, generates a ton of pressure. So the solution to gen rush is simply tunneling.

Injuring survivors or chasing them away from gens has no effect. They´ll just go back to the gen, once you break the chase. Often they don´t even bother with healing. Because they have Adrenaline (and then complain about NOED... oh the irony).

I understand your frustration. I really do. However, it seems youre not looking for advice. You just want people to validate your views on the game. Play how you want, but Id recommend looking up viable killer perk builds/strategies as well as how dbd used to be before they really started implementing the larger balance changes. You have to adapt and improvise. I wont say its easy for killer yet, but it's a heck of a lot better than it was from 2016-2018. Ive got a few thousand hours in game and while I am a survivor main, i understand how tedious and aggravating killer can be to play as. Thats why I play both sides though. So I can improve both sides! Just keep trying to improve and if the game is making you upset, take a break for a little bit :)
