    Eh.

I think most 2nd chance perks are mostly okay conceptually; it's just that in practice and combined with each other (and certain add-ons) they're pretty stupid.

They don't need deleted; just balanced a little better.

"Oh no, I accidentally got hit by the killer. Welp guess I'll die then."

BT, DS and Unbreakable have a place.

Anything that causes exhaustion not so much.

survivors are designed to have seconds chances (maybe to keep the theme of hope in horror movies?), see hatch or the 4%. hence, it's reasonable that survivors have 2nd chance perks, sure, some of them could be a little more balanced (like old MoM was totally awful and probably only a marketing strategy), but I wouldn't say that those perks shouldn't exist.

You seem pretty set, and have no arguments. You're not a developer, so I'm not sure why we should care to try to change your mind.

But I suppose all killer perks are balanced and fine, right?

Im okay with DS (if it would have some tweak) BT and all sprint perks but Dead hard is the most overpowered of the exhaustion perks. On high ranks you need survivor make mistakes and/or make reads. If you need at least do 2 reads or sur make a bad mistake dead hard is extremely OP. Still waiting for a killer second chance perk

Why would we try and change your mind when you can't even give a proper argument?

Except sometimes a survivor can become the victim of ANOTHER survivors mistake, at no fault of their own.

You could be unhooked, with no intention of being a troll with your DS, only to find that another survivor kites the killer to your hiding position.

You could KNOW the killer is running Discordance and Infectious Fright, and be trying to immediately get away from the gen another idiot decided to jump on while you were still on it, Billy downs them, you couldn’t get outside of the TR, you’re slugged too, and SUPER grateful for Unbreakable while Billy goes to slug someone else revealed by Infectious.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter if YOU don’t make mistakes. You can sometimes be at the receiving end of the killers knife because of OTHER survivors.

Add something to a rework of DS, if the player is fully healed, DS deactivates

    ...CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

The thing that Deja Vu does to help keep you from making a big mistake is that it helps you as a survivor see where the "three gen" zone is so you know to go after one of those gens early to not make the grave mistake of "Three Genning" yourselves.

I agree. If something exists purely to rectify a mistake, it should stop existing. Adrenaline, NOED, Dead Hard, Spirit Fury, Unbreakable...

But then the game would die, because there are plenty of lazy players.

    Ok.

Well, in fairness you never said “dead hard” in the original post.

    What are you talking about?!

That whole perk is designed around AVOIDING a mistake, a big one: 3 gen’ing.

So what about those on the killers side? Outside of a full endgame build, NoED is basically "I messed up, but now I get free kills" the perk.

Hex: Undying saves the totems you failed to defend, Enduring and Spirit Fury both reward you for being bad around pallets, and Unrelenting's entire existence.

Every insta down perk of a killer is a -1 chance perk, every time you skip the injury state. Red Mori = -8 chances for survivors.

    Survivor DC?

    -6 chances for the team.

Your teammates running into hooks against a hag?

When your team facks up your own chances also get slimmer. Second chance perks for survivors only bring a little bit balance into the game.
