One of my biggest irks.
Why is Ghostie called The Ghost Face and not just The Ghost? I understand it's probably a licensing issue, but I honestly hate it so much. No other killer in this game has a name like this. I know it's such a small thing, and it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the game, but man. I really wish he was just called The Ghost, it'd fit so much better than the needlessly added Face at the end.

I was actually just thinking about this the other day. But, I believe it's because we already have "The Spirit". Spirit and Ghost are basically the same thing. And calling it "Ghost Face" is referencing the Mask he is wearing. Not necessarily calling them a "ghost".

I guess, but I remember way, waaaay back when he was first leaked the images just showed him being called "The Ghost", and i think it fits. He's sneaky, invisible if he tries to be - watching from the shadows.

To match better, all Killer's now have "Face" on the end of their name.

I know it's a bit off topic, but it really irks me that he's called THE DEATHSLINGER
That name is so cheesy. They should have just called him THE OUTLAW and that would have been 10x better

I 100% agree. Even The Gunslinger would've been better, like I know it's not an actual gun but The DEATHSlinger comes off really dumb, at least in my opinion.

... its because thats what he is called. If you are asking about that space between Ghost and Face, well its a legit stylization of his name : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostface_(identity)
Atleat he did got his real name, unlike Leatherface which is called The Cannibal ingame but even the Dlc is called Leatherface. And well the "The" is just for consistency because well thats what they do.

Because the totally-not-ripped-off character's name is Ghostface, at least in pop culture. I don't know if you've ever watched Scream, but I highly recommend it.
Also, needlessly added? Huh? It's way more jarring to rename Ghostface "Ghost" than "Ghost Face."
