What happened to this game's community ?

Remember back in the days the experience was fun, now 9/10 games its tunneling, tryharding, toxicity. This just going boring. Why ?

No, i just disagree, in my opinion it wasnt like that in 2017. I just made discover the game to a friend, so we played together from green ti purple, to red ranks and all ( teamates and killers ) were nothing but toxic. Plus post game chat, This guy told me the only worst community he knows is the Lol one

You can spend your whole days on this forum, but you cant pretend having the absolut truth, its nothing about the game mechanics and its non sense, for the killer part ; if this is now easier why theyre acting like **** and tryharding than ever ?

Maybe you just remember mostly only the good games you had back then since you don't care about the bad ones anymore. I bet you are still experiencing the same mentality as back then its just you are more likely to fixate on something that has recently happened and compare it to the past.

Real PVP in my opinion is not acting like bad sport behavior, we can blame on "game mechanic" just the fact to choose the easy way out just by ego no matters if the others persons playing just dont have fun at all

No, and I suspect neither do you. Take off those rose-colored glasses of nostalgia. "When I was a boy I used to walk five miles to school everyday, through the snow, uphill both directions." Your memory will play you false. This is a PVP game. Everyday it is the same song, with an evolving riff and beat. I've been playing PVP games since Pong and I can tell you they are always cutthroat.

Yeah not in the way people tend to complain about though, which are the complaints you are trying to adress here.

Slugging all remaining survivors and then just standing there (or walking around headbanging) while they can do nothing, so you are delibrately just wasting their time is pretty much the definition of toxic behavior soooo yeah.

Actually come ot think of it, I would love to know BHVR stance on a killer bodyblocking a survivor in a corner, sure you would say that is holding the game hostage but obviously all the rest of hte survivors can just do gens, leave and let the EGC take the remaining survivor soooo yeah within the rules right?

Or if that goes too far, how about hte killer bodyblocks a survivor into the corner and does not attack until the point they would have normally bled to death, now it is completely within the games given timer soooo should be fine then right?

Killers, just like Survivors, are playing to win and earn as many Blood Points and Pips as they can. If the Emblems and point earning changes, we will change with it. Right now what you have to do to "win" has been left vague and rather subjective. So the only real way for a Killer to feel satisfaction and KNOW that they won is a 3K-4K. People who are more grind-minded treat a win as a game where they earn the most points and/or Pips. I agree that clarifying things might direct behavior.

This is the kind of nuance that is always ignored, it's the reason killers are so vocal.

Playing the same game for 4 years will do that to any game

Even if the game has changed it's still the same at it's core
