What exactly is it that you struggle with? Timing the charges? Anti looping with the chainsaw? Builds?
What do you usually run on him?

My main struggle is anti looping with the saw.
My build is BBQ, Enduring, Bamboozle, and Pop. Build advice would be helpful.
I don't have a lot of perks on him.

Bubba is about zoning. You essentially want to either push people into a dead zone, or force pallets with the threat of an insta down.
A lot of times, instead of kicking pallets, you should pick the side that you want to zone a survivor towards, pull out your chainsaw, bait moving in one direction and then chainsaw the pallet. This forces the survivor to stay at the pallet for as long as possible and gives them much less time to make it to the next tile.
Tile knowledge is also pretty important. You need to understand whether you have enough time to get the chainsaw before someone makes a pallet / window or whether to M1. Also if you know a survivor is going to run to a pallet and drop it immediately, then pull out your chainsaw so you can break it instantly. Good survivors might know you will try that and will loop around it instead of pre-dropping.

It can be quite entertaining if you're up for memes. You could wait for them to unhook and let the savior trade places. Camping is also satisfying for those who go out of their way to be toxic.
I agree, it is stinky if you're doing it purely to make people miserable, especially at 5 gens.

I literally tried to post some sort of a guide on Anti-looping with the chainsaw but the forum decided to collapse and delete everything so I will make it quick:
Anti-looping with the chainsaw comes down to these factors:
- chainsaw speed (affected by addons)
- chainsaw range (affected by addons)
- chainsaw control (your ability to avoid objects, corners, edges etc. while curving closely around everything)
- chainsaw charge timing (consuming the charges too quickly may reduce your range significantly)
- map knowledge
- and your ability to recognize weak pallets that can be anti-looped.
Example of a pallet than can be anti-looped effectively:
Long story short: Anti-looping is mostly about practice and experience.
As for builds I personally don't run any regression perks (anymore) as I think Bubba's snowball potential can make up for gen speed but you can obviously run them.
Enduring however is really not necessary as you can force down most pallets with his default chainsaw range anyways.
Bamboozle is obviously good on him as it's a synergy perk.
I would swap BBQ with Infectious Fright as it's another synergy perk that vastly increases his snowball potential.

He's still extremely reliant on survivor mistakes at loops. You can pre-rev and force pallets down very early with minimal charge use at most tiles. Combined with good zoning, Bubba is very good at getting downs in between tiles. He can shred through pallets quickly and diminish map resources. His chainsaw induces a bit of panic in 75% of survivors, but it's very rough against confident runners who actually look behind them and don't panic vault things. There's really no reason Bubba should ever get a hit at a long wall jungle gym or basic jungle gym. You can't hug things tight enough to rapidly close distance with the saw at many tiles.

Infectious Fright, Ruin, Surveillance and BBQ. You don’t need to camp, tunnel, etc. Noobs or fans of Pug do that. Don’t overcommit to your saw, know when to M1

He's easier on controller. Think of him like Mario Kart. To elaborate, when making sharp turns look straight ahead. Don't look at your opponent.

I found that with Bubba you need to learn to use your chainsaw effectively and when not to use it.
- Get a feeling for your opponents, how they handle pallets and the timing of revving up to smash the pallet in one hit right after it drops to not lose a lot of distance.
- Get a feeling when you should just M1 hit over trying to get the chainsaw hit. The insta down ability is great and all, but shouldn't be the only way for you to down them.
- Learn the timing on chaining your charges. the distance to use it at and controlling it to not bump into things while making corners. When chain-sawing through trees, door frames keep the camera center, also you can chainsaw into windows if you tilt a bit upwards for some cheeky one hits.
Just use your chainsaw, practice and other than that it is about general killer choices, where to apply pressure, when to drop chase, when to slug, etc. Even if you don't like to camp or tunnel don't be to high and mighty when survivors just do it near you to capitalize on their mistakes, because usually they are being greedy and if you let them have it... you are giving them a lot of power and losing your momentum.

Use chili addons and get good at timing your saw at the very end when it's about to run out of charge. Usually you either get the pallet which is good or the survivor gets greedy and you get the down which is even better.

That's a good build. Windows are Bubba's biggest weakness, so having bamboozle is almost a necessity with him. But since the rework, his chainsaw seems to have a bigger hitbox than it did before, so my advice would be to not get too close when looping a survivor around a tree or wall. Bubba's reach with the chainsaw goes a lot farther than you think it will.

A basic tutorial on antilooping as Bubba:
If you can M1 (basic attack a survivor) before they reach a windiw pallet it's usually worth getting the hit. If they reach the pallet first pre-rev your chainsaw. DO NOT walk into the pallet's hitbox or they will drop it on you while you're revving and stun you. If the survivor is smart they'll drop the pallet and you'll get it out of the way quickly and they won't get much distance on you. If they're not smart they'll get greedy and try to loop the pallet. If it's a longer loop you'll usually be able to chainsaw them.
Chainsaw control just takes a bit of practice, but you can learn when to use your charges by sound. Every time Bubba swings his chaisaw he grunts. Use your second charge after his third swing/grunt and your third charge 4 swings/grunts later.

Don't chainsaw attack in tight loops. The speed gained makes it tempting but you'll hit something and tantrum until you get really good with it. Tinkerer is great as you can get fairly close before charging your saw. People will naturally run into tight corridors when they here your saw, use this to bait them into places you can body block then use the saw. Also STBFL is a good perk for him just use saw on the obsession. The m1 recovery after 8 tokens makes him terrifying.

Using tinkerer with trail of torment is a good combo too, and I would encourage that over save the best for last. Bubba isn't a traditional m1 killer. His chainsaw is his power, and if you were to discourage using his power for all but the obsession, then it defeats the purpose of using Bubba.

To clarify what I meant was just don't m1 the obsession. Not to only use chainsaw on that one person. Chainsaw attack any time you can effectively. It just helps to buff his m1 recovery which people don't expect.

Don't you lose a token for all killer attacks with PWYF. Don't think it's like Save the best for last where killers like demo can avoid losing tokens. I haven't used either perks in a while so correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway it doesn't matter if you lose a token for a saw since you're getting a downed survivor in exchange. The extra speed compliments his power well since it allows you to get close and use your m2 much sooner so they don't reach a window/pallet and you're forced to m1.

Whatever works for you works. My build has been corrupt, whispers, bamboozle, and bbq. I switched bamboozle to pop after a rough night and so far haven't had any issues with windows. This is all at rank 1.

The biggest one that turned me from a crap Bubba player to an OK one: don't go for a hit on a healthy survivor. Get real close to him first, ride em like a donkey, then rev the chainsaw. His tantrum starts slow, but picks up speed as it goes on - focus on not hitting a wall or an object while just following the survivor, then you'll get him at the end.
Also, if the Survivor goes into a locker to dodge Tantrum, hit the locker... and start mashing the open button. His "stand in place, I hit an object, tandrum" is still lethal, and most survivors don't know the exact timing... as it varies a lot depending on your add-ons. You can usually pop the locker open a split second before they realize its ended.

True. I liked it when it was first added as certain windows like Badhams now infamously weak fence vault and the old Ironworks window. It is very map dependant though. Nothing worse than getting The Game with that perk on.

Probably, but I use iron grasp a lot when I meme with my Killers because I like to pair it with Mad Grit and run around with my Survivor back pack wildly swinging away with my weapon. It’s so nice when I actually get a Survivor who realizes I’m messing around and stops struggling.
