How to get a killer to chase you?
So I’ve been getting better with mouse and keyboard to the point where I can somewhat hold a good chase in solo que. I’ve experimented the past couple days on what could get a killer to commit to you (because they never do). Object of Obsession doesn’t work, spam vaulting doesn’t work, clicking doesn’t work, waving at the killer doesn’t work, but I finally found out how, just play a default survivor and they’ll think your a baby at the game and then they’ll chase you. I’ve been playing baby meg and the killer almost always tunnels me and seems to get mad of the fact that they’re getting ran by a baby meg. But yeah there’s a little tip for those that wanna buy your team some time. My team never seems to hold chase longer than 30 seconds. But yeah good luck and see y’all in the fog!

The reason those things usually don’t work is because most killers are suspicious enough to recognise that as a bait, and so will instead try to find or determine what you’re trying to distract them from.

If you´re really confident, make yourself an easy target by giving them an easy first hit. Combined with your default-skin charade it may very well bait them to commit to you.

Make your self obvious. Act like you're out in the open, on purpose.

Bring a key. That usually gets me to focus someone.

That works a lot too now that I think about it.

It usually works for awhile. Once the killer realizes you can loop pretty well they will often look for someone else. In my usual SWF one of us is actually decent at looping. So much that if he happens to run past us working on a gen the killer will break off him and come after us. It's gotten so bad we run bond just so we know if he is bringing the killer to us.

Get the skimpy outfit for Nea with the skirt. Maybe change some clothing items to look as bitchy as possible.

Twerk and click your flashlight.

Just do gens, the killer can't ignore you when you are constantly doing the objective.

No mither is the best way to get the killer to chase you, trust me. Combine with OoO for even better results.

I would say try and make yourself annoying without the typical chase me stuff. If you can control it make it so you barely don't get hit when vaulting or dropping pallets. Not too sure other than that.

Bring a key or a map, make a little noise at the beginning but nothing overt and pretend to be sneaking away from your "mistake". When the killer sides up just bolt off, preferably towards a pallet or window. Throw or jump, then emote or teabag afterword. Won't work forever, but for a minute or so you'll be their whole world. The problem is going to be mindgaming enough to keep the killer interested and oblivious to what you're doing. Best advice there is to play cocky afterword then let them "stumble" across you doing something loud, opening a chest, missing a gen skillcheck in different but close locations in quick succesion, sending crows up ect.

Moonwalk towards them

Run No Mither. 🤷♂️

As a Killer Main, if I see a survivor standing out in the open, waving at me... they become my last priority. That always feels like someone way too confident in their chasing skills. I'll chase if I have literally no other option, but if I see that person running to a jungle gym, I'm bailing.
I'm looking for the slow antelope of the herd to get a quick hook in the opener.

Just run Object of Obsession

This causes me to ignore them more. I'd go so far as to tunnel their teammates when someone does this.

Do your objective, try to do a gen in my face and i will chase you

This. If a Killer is experienced, they are incredibly suspicious of Survivors actively outing themselves to the Killer like a tasty worm on a hook.
I've found that if you want the Killer's attention, the easiest way is to stun them with something. Surprise pallet, surprise Head-On, surprise anything that can stun them. A stun is really hard to ignore if they don't see it coming right away.

Play Claudette and actually be able to sneak past them. Tunnels in no time flat!

Yeah, just bring a broken key they don't know the difference. That way if your bait fails you and you die, you're only out a broken key.
That said, also being me helps you to get chased. If I'm ever working on a gen with others..its always me they go for. 😔 I don't know if it's Felix's sweet buttcheeks they want to see sashay in front of them..but oddly I'm the go to guy for chases (and I hate being chased.....)

If you try to attract killer with vault spam or waving, you just show him that you not doing anything to progress game. That make him not to worry about you. You show him it's a 3vs1 game. Good killers prioritize survivors that repair gens. Especially good gens in the middle.
