Genrepair sound question
Hello,
can any explain why the devs changes the genrepair sounds back to the older version ? I was very liking the newer version. In my opinion it was a little bit more realistic.

I'm pretty sure they changed it because it was simply too loud, I'm not sure why they didn't just make it a bit quieter but there may have been a different reason.

I didn’t mind the car engine noise but you could hear it every 5 seconds which was annoying.

They removed these obnoxious car engine noises? Those are annoying as hell.

Apparently survivor mains hated it. I disagreed, but then if they're the ones playing survivor every single match they're the ones who have to listen to it All. The. Time.
Frankly the new sounds were more realistic. Why would you hear the sound of pistons pumping if you're still *repairing* the gen.

Because when im working on a gen I would not like to hear something that sounds like me helping my dad work on a car

I think you were part of the minority here. There was a lot of negative feedback about those sounds when they were introduced.

ok but maybe the devs will change it in future to a better other sound. The actual one is standard and pretty boring cause it exists since beginning of the game
