Iron Maiden VS chasing survivors

Im calculating if its worth to take a survivor out of a locker or not. Ofc, at the end of match its always not worth it. Gates are likely 99'ed and taking a stun is meaningless. But what about the middle of match.. 👀 Sometimes I feel like I have too many pallets around me and chase can take longer than DS timer. I play Piggy right now. I feel like Iron Maiden is the direct counter to hiding in lockers with DS. M1 killers, probably, shouldnt open lockers, if they have IM. What do you think about it?

I am not sure how iron maiden counters DS, if they are trying to get you to pick them up there really is no point in smacking them down even with the exposed status effect because you are still going to pick them up afterwards.

Well, the trouble is you still need to be in the neighborhood of a locker in order to down someone who exits it. The other issue with Iron Maiden as a counter to DS is that people who jump into lockers with DS are often injured already. At that point the perk doesn't offer many advantages; you're still stuck camping the locker until you're sure a minute has gone by or just leaving them and going to find someone else. At least IM counters Inner Strength so you won't get burned by someone running both. Still, there are probably better perks to run. I really like MYC 3 as a DS counter, actually. First, it incentivizes you to chase the person who did the unhooking. Second, if your only option is to chase a person who just got unhooked, the cooldown on MYC 3 is 60 seconds and it will therefore exactly match the DS counter for the person who gets unhooked (assuming DS 3). So, rather than having to guess, you can just wait until your MYC is up again and then grab them out of the locker worry free.

The problem is - if Im not allowed to slug quickly unhooked survivors behind my back, then survivors can quickly return to genrushing me at full speed without any disadvantage. A chased survivor wasted my time and expect me to chase a new, fresh survivor. Spreading my damage and genrushing me at full speed is perfect scenario for them. Im thinking of camping every locker now. :^) Yes, I will lose time, but a chase can only take longer than ~50s. And no matter what I choose - to go after a fresh guy or already once hooked guy - they still can genrush me at full speed.

    Iron Maiden counter Adrenaline, too.
