Trapper with two traps available by default. When?
Why isn't it? Does anyone really think this is imbalanced? If so, why?

Idk, still remember when the game deleted my add ons for one game and i 4ked with basekit trapper

And I remember a recent game without add-ons for additional traps, where I tried to set a couple of traps and while I was doing this, 3 generators became complete.

Tbh trapper would really benefit well from this. It would make his start much easier and make him less add-on dependent. It would only be imbalanced if he started with almost all his traps as he could trap up a whole area as soon as the game has begun. Remember that bear traps are way more powerful than hag traps because they lock a survivor in place for a while (depending on the add-ons). This is why hag is able to keep all her traps on her and trapper isn't. It's to balance it out. But trapper having 2 traps by default would be amazing and less time consuming.

In my opinion just make his brown bag, brown gloves, and yellow add on that make traps darker his base kit. This is unrelated to trapper but I think doing this for wraith will help him also make some add-ons his base kit.

That too is also still a decent change. I think his traps are going to be much darker when the new graphics for Macmillan estate come out. I remember seeing them in the ptb. They definitely looked darker.

Trapper plays for the 3- or 4- gen mid and late game, the first two or three generators are usually going to be easier for the survivors to complete in general. It's a mistake to assume that just because the first few generators are completed quickly the last couple will go just as fast, especially with a late game killer like Trapper or Hag.

This too may or may not be, depending on the survivors to a greater extent, I think. This is not an answer to my question anyway and a little help in the form of one extra trap is needed for this killer and will not upset the balance.

To be clear I wouldn't be against Trapper getting a small buff, he's probably one of the weaker killers overall. Not "trash" but not great either. To answer your question though the devs have given no indication they're changing him any time soon.
