Will we get a new Survivor in the next week?
It is a new poster of new (5th) Tome. And we get 3 familiar faces here (the Hillbilly, the Blight & Nea) and new one (I think that he's a guy from the archives aka Benedict Baker). In the previouses 4 tomes we had only 4 characters from the game except 1st (we have 2 of em).
Also devs said that they have a big suprise for us. Looks like it's true.
What do you think?

Unless the devs have stated "A new survivor comes out next week" I assume the answer is no.

There wasn't one on the ptb, there was one 1.5 months ago, and I doubt they'd keep it hidden. I'm doubtful.

I can't believe they managed the Blight blight
They blighted blight, so how much blight can blight blight till blight can't be blighted no more?

Highly doubt they would do a Original Chapter just with a Survivor. They would not make any money from that, except when bringing super-strong Perks (like MoM with Ash), but you would be able to get the Survivor with Shards, because it is an original character.
I doubt the person in question is a playable Character.

But his perks were leaked and hyped in other ways (in KYF). Ghostface was leaked by accidentally posting the developer build for a couple of hours. Here we've had literally nothing. Nothing. I'm doubtful.

That's the observer, he managed to hide from the entity. It wouldn't make sense lore-wise for him to be a survivor.

And MoM is still good, just more challenging to activate...
though, isn’t it interesting (while not the actual reason for the nerf) how they profited from such a strong perk, then nerfed it well after sales peaked and were on the decline.
Could this be a trend we see in future chapters... make it look flashy, players buy it up, then...nerf it after the bank’s full, idk?
MoM is scarcely used as often as it once was.

I always wonder why MoM was stopped being used. I hate to imagine that survivors are too lazy to want to get the grand benefit of having endurance

Only with Survivor only-Chapters. With every regular Chapter there is a Killer which brings new gameplay. But since Survivors are all the same, you need something to make the Chapter interesting for everyone.

I'm really interested to see what they do with Billy's lore.
They'll surely expand it, right? I mean, not much to be said about a kid being locked in his room then killing his parents.

Yeah, used to almost be the equivalent of a free hit for survivors everytime they brought MoM into a match, players just had to endure a basic attack from the killer 3 times to activate MoM.

It fits, since it is Halloween and there will most likely be another Hallowed Blight-Event.
Also, and this is also a point for Billy - it is an easy way to get some Data because people are playing the respective Killer(s). Even tho, this is only a minor thing, since you dont get much data if someone players his Level 1 Billy.
