Why is dropping survivors difficult?
When I go to press R to drop a survivor there is always a small delay and that can suck when you need to drop a survivor. Sucks especially when survivors have breakout and sabo hooks nicely and you go to drop them but because of that slight delay they still escape.

It takes a bit of time to pick up a survivor. It follows that dropping a survivor would also take a bit of time

From my observations and experiences, its a network issue. For example I have had lagswitching survivors that were undroppable (thus they eventually wiggled off). So I assume the server does alot of double checks regarding the wiggle meter before dropping.

You could just let them roll off of your shoulder while you keep going. Instead they get dropped almost gently. Why would the killer baby them this way. Dropping them shouldn't have a delay in movement.

Killers should be able to hold Survivors by one of their ankles and swing their bodies around like a rag doll instead of using a weapon.

It’s not like an animation or anything, I had a scenario the other day where I had to repeatedly press R like 5 times before the game registered me dropping the survivor. It’s quite annoying.

This always happens to me, and can sometimes result in the survivor wiggling free because... the game just decided not to release them.
Of course, you can't drop them too close to walls or objects, as they have no space to be dropped, but I've had it refuse to drop in the middle of an empty field as well.

It is the same with dropping an item as survivor.
The controls in this game are clunky as hell sometimes, and this is one of the worst offenders. The button just does not respond sometimes.

It's bugged. Sometimes you'll be standing there for a few seconds because the button is so unresponsive.

Ah yes, I have practically pushed my finger through my table because it wasn't responding fast enough sometimes lol.

I did the same with Death Slinger! Everyone was discussing what they wanted before his reveal and I mentioned we need a Scorpion from Mortal Kombat type to reel in Survivors! Maybe I did it again.

When they're wiggling it'll result in you swaying left and right. It won't drop until you're in that moment when you stop going one way and change direction.
