4 years that this kind of RNG exist and for what?
How many times has this been asked to be changed?
Everytime you pay the devs for a skin (whether it’s .50 cents or a whopping $15) you continue to tell them that this is okay.

You're telling me your Hex:Ruin Totem isn't supposed to spawn right ontop of a gen?
I must be misreading the perk. I thought the perk said: "Hex:Ruin: Provide one random Survivor 1500 Blood Points about 15 seconds into every match."

You know like everyone else that old Maps did not get reworked when it comes to Totem Spawns yet. Once they got their graphical Update, Totem Spots are better.

Pop is for safety if ruin gets destroyed too fast because of the totem spawns like this.

Funny this - Tru is running a video series not using Gen Regression. It's funny how often a killer with 5000 hours experience on Reset Week can't kill a single Survivor before the gens are done.

Pair it with undying: with the description grant up to 60 seconds of additional time on your hex perks.
Yet you know totems are so overwhelming and strong, will be nerfed soon.
It is close to a requirement to succeed if you aren't a X000 h player, so nope it is actually surprising you didn't swap out sloppy for the above mentioned perk.

I start every killer match (when I'm using hex perks) by looking around at my totem spawns and saying to myself, "That one is doomed. That one miiiight last." When I play Ruin/Undying I usually lose both my totems by the 3 minute mark. Which is FINE. It's meant to be a risk/reward situation. I do wish totem spawns were better though.
Then when I play survivor totems stay up all match. I usually break 3 or so by myself because my teammates don't know or care enough to do it.
Fun story time: last week I was playing Blight with Ruin/Undying on Hawkins. 30 seconds in my Undying got cleansed at literally the exact moment I downed a Meg ON TOP of my Ruin totem: as in, her head literally collided with it as she fell. I figured defending it was a lost cause, so I hooked her and didn't even bother trying to defend it. Then... she never cleansed it. I think falling on it headfirst might have given her a concussion. Megheads. Whaddya-gonna-do?

Hex are such a neat idea and the idea they can be cancelled helps make them be a bit more powerful, but this is such a classic example of why the current system of putting out totems is soo poor. At the very least, there should be 1 or 2 more totems on the map, and each hex should take 2 removals to get rid of. (so it has a chance to last more then 30 seconds)

It's an issue, it hasn't been fixed even though the Devs said they were working on Totem Spawns but Undying has been the Bandaid fix for this...unfortunately.

Before any of you call me biased, perk shaming survivors for using DS and unbreakable is wrong as well.

This isn't exactly news. There are a lot of maps that haven't been reworked yet. But it is disingenuous on your part to make it seem like a calamity worthy of not supporting the game. You should be thanking players who do support the game or it would have died off long ago instead of being petty about a bad totem spawn point. They know totem spawn points are an issue and have steadily been making improvements. Most of the newer maps have ridiculously good totem hide spots. Even with small game they can be difficult to find.

That totem spawns so often for me as well, it's atrocious how that spawn is still in the game.

People like to rag on others when they see something in a build they don't like, happens all the time it's like they can't help it. I wouldn't pay much mind to these people. I remember someone who posted regularly on here would censor their perks and add-ons, it was probably for this reason because these people want to switch the topic to something completely unrelated

I've spawned in the shack with a hex totem inside multiple times recently. I swear they made the change a year or two ago where that shouldnt happen anymore.

I'm just gonna point out that this balances out since this is clearly in Shelter Woods, which is heavily in the killer's favour. Regression isn't necessary to 4k on that map, by a long shot. Plus, you're running Pop, so Ruin going means nothing to you unless you're literally unable to get downs, which shouldn't be the case, since it's shelter woods.

Ruin totally prevents Pop, thats right. But thats only as long as ruin stays active. Since ruin will be destroyed in most of the games eventually, you have some sort of second gen defense line in Pop. These two together work reasonably well with high mobility killers, Freddy for example.

Oops you're right, my mistake. Weird; can't say I've ever had or come across a totem spot that bad on those maps. That's incredibly unlucky.

This build is basically the easiest killer build in the game. If you can't 4k with this build then stop playing killer.
Swing Chains/Jump Rope/Outdoor Rope should be reworked. Freddy of all killers doesn't need more pressure.

This is basically the second chance of survivors. And also if we are being real survivors complain less about perks than killers do. I have ZERO issue with that build. BBQ is a semi decent perk with too many easy counters. Sloppy is whatever you don't NEED to be healed all the time. And ruin means no pop so dont cleanse ruin its not even that good anymore unless you are a good killer or defend one gen but at that point you lose the game if you focus on one

I agree with you. I stopped dead hard and spine chill and resilience because everyone shaming it. But overall I hate relying on those perks for greed. I just put on dead hard recently and mever even used it for pallets because I was so used to good looping

No ruin and pop are dumb. Pop may or may not ever be used. And ruin is trash as a survivor main mostly I prefer old ruin
