Remove the BS loops!
Please devs, remove the loops and combined tiles where theres no mindgame potential. Looping is only fun because both sides can outplay each other, and loops like on azarovs and Macmillan remove that. Also remove that bullshit on Macmillan where 3 t and ls can spawn next to each other, because that's literally a ######### infinite.

Loops with no mindgame are pretty annoying to face as killer, and feel cheap as survivor. Would be a nice change, maybe add something else to replace them though because they help playing survivor a ton.

The only BS loop that comes to mind is Crotus Penn Asylum has a god loop window. Other than that I think loops are fine.
It sounds like OP is talking about tile spacing and probably the middle of Suffocation Pit. I do not think there’s anything wrong with this map considering how much weaker the rest of the map is.

There's still some infinite windows around. Grim Pantry, Ormond, Disturbed Ward, Father Campbells Chapel, Haddonfield, and Rancid Abattoir all have god windows still. There's probably a few more but those are off the top of my head.
Dead Dawg also has a borderline infinite loop with balanced landing. Anytime someone offers dead dawg and I see them sitting at that loop I just facecamp the entire lobby because I instantly know why I have been sent there.

Infinite loops are incredibly bad. Why are they even in the game. Just in general, delete all the immensely safe pallets or make them much less safe.
The safe pallet-in-a-loop spam is unreal.

It seems to me the definition for god windows has loosened quite a bit. My DBD age is showing.
I think the only loop that a good survivor cannot be caught at is Crotus Penn Asylum.
The others the loops are complex but can be countered with map knowledge.

Ok they are not actual god windows. But I consider a god window a window that will waste enough of your time you will lose the entire game chasing through it early on, especially if they are chained into nearby pallets. It's a window that can be mindlessly looped 3 times with no counterplay from the killer and will take you probably at least a minute to even score a hit. And a minute for 1 hit in DBD is probably 2-3+ gens done or almost done if the rest of the team is alive.

I hate those loops so much. They're just run in a circle until the Survivor drops the pallet. No mindgame whatsoever. The only Killers that can play differently here are Nurse and Spirit (no surprise there).
I agree about the tile spacing. A patch was supposed to fix it (3.7.0), but we still get these BS spawns like jungle gym-shack-jungle gym-T/L or multiple T/L walls together.
Don't forget the funbus on Autohaven. Maybe add Suffocation Pit because I don't really see what changed. It looks the same as it was before 3.7.0 released.

I main nurse. If i don't want to, I don't have to deal with ANY loops. But ive been playing other killers and its opened my eyes to how stupid this game can be.

The only time spacing i have a problem with is 3+ jungle gyms, which is a semi-infinit, depending on how far away they are from each other, and 3+ tls, which is an infinite.

On the Crotus Prenn god window, you can try going upstairs, because there is a hole in the wall on the second floor. The survivor usually gets confused, and then you can just jump straight on them and get a hit, works almost every time

Oh ok sorry, I thought you were complaining about loops area because you just weren't good enough to deal with loopers. But you clearly not, if you main Nurse then I get what you are talking about. I'm sorry. And I can understand a bit, but that is why blood lust exists... no? I mean, there are safe pallets as there are unsafe pallets... so there are strong looping areas as there are also weak looping areas. I think this can be a way for survivors to bring killers in a strong loop area to win a lot of time while you chase that surv and the others gen rush.
I don't think this is unknown by the devs. I think this is why they put strong looping areas: to bait the killer.
I think that when you see that happens, what you need to do if the survivor is a good looper, is to leave him alone if he gets in that kind of area. Then, just remmeber the spot not to be bait again. I think this is just a way to improve the mindgame potential, in opposite.
That's my opinion. Maybe you still don't agree with me? But I think it is an interesting point.

Do they need to be? A 2 minute chase is game-winning in DBD. A god window is still a god window.

Autohaven: The maps that people somehow think are balanced even though more often than not easily chainable tiles spawn in series.

Seriously, I almost never see game-winning deadzones in Autohaven maps. Sure, there might be a side with nothing on it... And only 1 or 2 easy to do generators, while everything else is is safe as old Ironworks.

I remember people freaking out how the Autohaven maps were going to be full of deadzones... and then said deadzones appeared like 1% of the time.

There are a couple of tiles that you get multiple of on Ormond that aren't really mindgameable. Can't think of others off the top of my head, though.

I think it needs tweaking so the strongest window never happens, but the weakest window is made a bit stronger somehow when it comes to funbus.

Don't forget the window that can spawn on one of the sides from the main building on mothers dwelling.That's definetely a god window.

Let's be honest here. Anyone can use a safe pallet. It doesn't show a survivor's skill in looping the killer. Safe pallets are crutches and needs to be reduced.

Crotus Prenn & Ormond for survivor and the game & lery's for killer.
Hawkins is a hard one tho, because if the survivors play it smart, the last gens are the two top gens with a random other one.

It's ok. I don't have a problem with strong loops, just the bs ones that you cant do anything about unless you're nurse, hag, spirit, or slinger. Like, three tls next to each other is an infinite, and then there's that one loop on Macmillan, then the crotus prenn main building. I know when to leave a survivor as well. I don't lose the games with bs loops most of the time, but I don't think that they should be in the game. Pallets that can't be mindgamed shouldn't be in the game imo, because mind games make this game fun.
