Chapter XVIII, SLENDERMAN
(I found this in the comment of a youtube video asking for suggestions of new killers to come to the game, and thought I would share it with you!)
The Myth
Attributes:
• Terror Radius: 32m
• Height: Tall (will be the tallest introduced killer)
• Movement Speed: 4.2 m/s (105% movement speed)
Difficulty: Hard
Weapon: Tendril of Darkness
Description:
A mysterious killer shrouded behind folklore and legend that has a power which allows him to become more unpredictable by the second. His personal perks Manipulative Hunt, Unseen Operator, and Always Watches allows him to stay hidden, gather information, and punish survivors while unseen.
Power:
Don't Look
Your eyeless glare alone is enough to induce outcry, fear, and worry in survivors.
Press the Active Ability button to activate Don't Look.
* Don't Look is active for 30 seconds, and your terror radius is reduced by half.
When a survivor looks at you for 5 seconds non-consecutively with Don't Look active, an audio cue (piano slam) will play. The affected survivor(s) will scream and gain a tier of the Paranoia status effect. (indicated with ⦻ scribbled over their Head Icons)
Tier 1 of Paranoia:
* Inflicts Hindered and Blindness for 15 seconds. Survivors hear a low booming sound.
Tier 2 of Paranoia:
* Permanently Inflicts Blindness.
* Inflicts the Hindered status effect when survivors enter your Terror Radius. Ends after 30 seconds.
* Survivors hear an unnerving fog sound, and a low hum combined with the sound from the previous tier
Tier 3 of Paranoia:
* Breathing and grunts of pain are increased by 50%.
* Survivors become Broken upon injury
* Survivors hear a repetitive and eerie ringing sound combined with the sounds from previous tiers
* Decreases Survivor repair speeds by 10%
* Survivors are now able to see and collect pages
The Eight Pages:
* There are 8 pages by default scattered across the map in completely random locations that the Survivors have to collect to reduce Tier 3 Paranoia down to the previous tier
* Pages will only be revealed and able to collect once Survivors hit Tier 3 Paranoia
* Pages are revealed in a white aura
* Once all pages are collected, all pages will automatically respawn once another person hits Tier 3.
However, The Slenderman becomes more aggressive the more pages collected.
* 1-4 Pages: 3% increased Haste
* 5-7 Pages: Terror Radius decreased 8 meters
* 8th page: Gain the Undetectable status effect
Special Attack:
Tendril Pierce
* Press and hold the Attack button while charging or holding Don't Look to lunge a Tendril forwards and injure survivor
Perks:
Manipulative Hunt:
Those who meddle in your work deserve swift punishment.
When chasing a survivor, every survivor who enters your field of view gains the Oblivious and Blindness status effects for 20/30/40 seconds. Manipulative Hunt has a cooldown of 60 seconds
"I have plans for you, Kate" --The Slenderman
Unseen Operator:
Any time your aura is read, gain a Token, up to 4 tokens. Each token removes 2/4/8 meters of your Terror Radius and the ranges of any aura reading Survivors have. Upon reaching your 4th Token, all survivors suffer from the Exposed status effect for 30 seconds.
"He's here..."--Kate Hayes-Milens
Always Watches:
Those you torture have no idea what's coming, as you witness their every single move.
Each time that a survivor exits your line of sight after starting a chase, and stays out of it for 20/15/10 seconds, Killer Instinct will activate for 15 seconds, and other survivors within 5/10/20 meters of the affected survivor will have their auras revealed until out of range
"Always watches. No eyes." --Kate's Journal
Add-On Ideas:
The Myth starts with No Terror Radius, and each collected page will increase his terror radius by 12 meters. Activating Don't Look increases it to map-wide
Rarity: Ultra Rare/Very Rare
New Map:
Oakside Park
Originally a trading post, Oakside park evolved to be a park for families alike to visit. They began to modernize the park, with radio towers and electronic cameras to keep the facility in check. However, this would be the downfall of Oakside, as slowly people lost interest as it lost its true natural value. Children began spreading rumors of a man that would abduct children within the park. Eventually, people forgot about it as a whole. Now, it belongs to the entity, held in its grasp.

Oh my God I love this idea, honestly. But I think the power without any add-ons by itself is very powerful, and I'm a killer main. Being broken if injured is wild, but I presume depending on how large the map is it could be balanced. Either way a very interesting idea

I am also a killer main. I feel that the broken status effect can compensate for such a low speed. Pallets will be an absolute pain to him.

I feel like this is too weak. A lot of things need to line up for a small payoff.

Ahhh ok, that makes a lotta sense now that I think about it.

I love the idea of this, though it does seem to be a little weak, especially for a 105% killer. I love seeing the varying takes people have on Slenderman, he can do so much.
