Stridor change idea
Breathing and pain grunts are no longer affected by the perk. Now making running footsteps 50% louder and walking footsteps 25% louder. Crouching footsteps are unaffected. Now run Iron Will + Urban Evasion against Spirit, couple it with Sprint Burst and you get a 100% dedicated running build for her. I think it works even against other killers since Sprint Burst always buy momentum. What do you think?

So change perks just to hurt spirit. Spirit wouldnt need to run Stridor if all survivors werent running iron will.
Besides the breathing part hasn’t been relevant since 2018. Back then you used to hear breathing clearly but now even with stridor its still impossible on most survivors

This is happening becouse sounds are not working as intended and we are still waiting for the issue to be adjusted

If you know what stridor means then you know why it effects breathing and not footsteps. If you ask me that should be added to Predator which already deals with scratch marks.

And it was not a change to hurt her, more like to give a small window of counterplay while respecting her necessity to hear people

Sounds ARE working as intended. For the most part anyway, minus survivors on the ground being silent. Its been 2 years since sounds got run into the ground, they've tinkered with them many times since then. Silent breathing, chase music booming so loud it drowns everything out, this is how it's intended and people need to realize that.

lol I played Spirit for the first time in a while yesterday. 3 of the little toerags running iron will. Needless to say I brought Stridor next time.
You can get them without using stridor but what's the point in needlessly handicapping yourself by disabling sound? yeah I don't think the next lot had it, so they got hard mode because of the game before. Which is DBD in a nutshell basically. You're kind of forced to run the strongest things because it's highly likely the other side will be too.

What? That's nowhere near what the medical condition of Stridor means. Why not make this suggestion for Predator? That would make sense, at least.
And you shouldn't be changing around perks just because the game has a bug that noticeably and negatively impacts killer gameplay. If you get it changed, it won't get changed back when the bug is fixed.
And why is everyone starting to want to put their hands all over Myers? I don't want the devs anywhere near his mechanics. They already messed up the stalking while in Tier III, which was only recently removed with no announcement after they were "just" doing add-on wording clarifications.

They are that's what people can't grasp. They've been buggered for 2 years and tinkered with many times. It was one of those "bugs that became a feature" things.
They don't want the old sounds from years back, they like the chase music drowning out everything. It's meant to be like this now.
