Where are my fellow Billys?
I've always played hillbilly and after the nerf I barely noticed the difference. I still played billy base kit like I always did only overheated once. Is it because his add-ons aren't good anymore? And he makes that roar? Where did the Billys go?

I pretty much retired from Billy. Played him a lot 2018/early 2019 and after that only occasionally. Idk if it´s me but after the rework, I can´t hit sick curves anymore for the live of me. It feels different but I can´t put my finger on it. I miss the old addons, too...
The roar and overheat propably don´t help, either. Many people seem to have quit him for good simply because he isn´t fun anymore, not neccessarily because he´s weaker.

The roar, the awful new animations that look like he's still in a pre-alpha state, his sensitivity changes that made curving worse, the second nerf that while it didn't do much basically told me that BHVR absolutely will force you to acknowledge their brand new shiny mechanics whether it was a good change or not. His camera and the animations and and the roar all give me a headache. Babysitting an overheat mechanic is stupid but I could live with it if we had the old Billy anims back. That's why. He's absolutely not fun anymore and is a chore to play and to look at. And the overheat mechanic definitely did change the way you play him, unless you're the kind of Billy player that only goes for backrevs.

The Hillbilly space program finally took off so they're doing moon exploration at the moment.

I used to love playing him, but he feels as has been said, different. They took away alot of the skill from him like being able to do the crazy curves. Overheat is just dumb, he already is easy to dodge and if you force him to M1 hes has no power. Hes absolutley destroyed. And it kinda makes me sad cause hes 1 of the OG. He has addons now which are a detriment to him as well. Slightly increased charge time to become chainsaw Huntress... really? The roar is for survivors who dont look behind them to know when to do a random 120 degree turn to dodge as well.

I see more Letherface's in my survivor games than Billy's. Funny how the role changes. Besides people are overwhelming his nerfs. He's still pretty good and his mobility is nasty 😍

Still here. Only reason I don't play him as much is cause I started branching out to new killers more. But yeah, he's hardly any different in my opinion. I'm still having just as much success as before his update

Don't worry, new tome will be released tomorrow and then people will play Billy more for next 70 days.
Same as Hag was rare killer and after previous rift survivors realised how strong she is and how much they hate to play against her.

Half of them are playing Spirit now because she's the strongest killer that you can play braindead. Jumped ship as soon as they heard "Overheat" as "nerf".

I main him. Don’t have any issues playing him post nerf. So many of his old builds are still available: drift king, double engravings, silent billy (massively buffed). Even his charge time addons are still available but the 4.4 m/s ruins him on a couple of maps.
I got all his perks unlocked recently and been stocking up addons.

I stopped after the rework for a different reason
They changed his animations too much and it just doesn't feel right to play him, along with this his sprint feels really slow right now and I got used to Blight so

I play a lot in the evenings and I don’t see much of either Spirit or Hillbilly. I’m not complaining though, most were just hook tunnelers and wanted the game done in 3 minutes.
Ive mainly seems lots of Legion, Doctors, some Trappers and a sprinkling of Piggies and Onii-Chan’s here and there.
