why the hell do i get deranked for getting face camped
seriuosly though, i lose rank because i get face camped and teammates wont even bother to try to unhook me.

Why should they unhook you? If the Killer is camping it will most likely be a trade at best. If someone is camping, the best thing is to do Gens. Yes, it sucks for the guy on the Hook.
Regarding Deranking - again, this sucks as well, but you did not do enough to ensure the Blackpip. Whether this is in your control or not does not matter at this point. And honestly, I dont know if it is really worth it to create a system which checks if the Survivor gets camped so that they dont derank.

Being a runner/first chased has that risk. Once you get the rank 1 achievement there's no real reason to worry about rank though. It does nothing for you. The best thing about being camped like that is you get out of that game fast and can do a different one. If nobody's unhooking that = no altruism either. Nobody pips in those games. It's a pure failstate.

There have been many suggestions posted by others and myself that if the killer is camping you within kindred radius(16 meters) for over 60+ total seconds you get an auto safety pip but this safety pip progress wouldn't count towards a normal pip.
Why this hasn't been added in we'll never know.

Because you didn’t do enough to contribute to either safety pipping or gaining pips before you were chased and caught.
Perhaps play more cautiously in the beginning of the game?

this is what u hate the most about this game, getying face camped = deranked.
Killers should get blocked by the entity and the entity should unhook the survivor from the hook if the killer stays within radius.

Because you didn't do anything during the match.
You get rank points based on your actions during the match, if you get moried off first hook you don't' get to do much. Simple as that.

So you got caught first and the killer face camped you. How come your fellow survivors didn't come over and dehook you?
They could have come as a 2 or 3, blocked the killer, used a torch, one would have had borrowed time, you would have had DS.
If someone unhooks you and gets hooked they could have had deliverance perk.
Dude, the list goes on. End of the day the other survivors didn't want to help, they just sat on gens because they know losing you and doing all the gens gives them a safe score. There's no incentive to rescue you because the game rewards survivors more for mindless gen progression over interaction.

Unless you happen to spawn by killer and are 1st chase. I can loop for 2 or 3 gens... but I am probably going to depip because
A) only contributing to 2 gens gets me a silver or bronze
B) there is virtually no altruism happening, silver or bronze.
C) sure I have some chase and bold points, gold or iridescent.
D) If I get hit and hooked, max gold in survival (if you escape).
At my rank... this is a de-pip.
Happened yesterday. I ran across the map, looping and being stuck in tier 3 madness. All he did was zap and chase. I would lose him, and look around... and there he was, running to find me... zapping, and zapping, and zapping. 95% of my 10 minutes was in tier 3.
Enjoyable game.

In my opinion i think they should make it so that other survivors loses points for not going for saves and letting survivors get sacrificed.
