New MacMillan

Am I the only one who doesn't like reworked map? It's not dark, it's not bright, grass looks really weird. I really liked the old one.

    It's terrible gonna be honest.

It looks plastic to me. I wish there was something to make it moody, like more fog, or swaying branches. Make it spooky. I have a feeling if they did that, it would tank performance on some systems tho.

I personally love the map. It looks really good on ultra.

I like it a lot, black metal Jeff seems to blend into it really well

It looks terrible. The blue hue is gone, the grass looks bad and unnatural, and the trees look bad as well.

This is litterally the worst they could have ever done to McMillan, and they did it. They ruined my favourite realm.

I think it looks nice, my only complaint is the breakable walls either serving no purpose at all or being an excuse to allow terrible design such as god windows

I'm kind of sad about it. It lost a lot of its charm and defining features that differentiated it from the other maps. Someone mentioned that it looks plastic- I thought that was a funny description because I thought the new MacMillan looked like it was built as a miniature set, haha.

There are a lot of cool changes, and overall I'm in favor of what they did, I just really wish they'd bring back the blue hue. Devs took away the moonlight offerings because they wanted to be able to mess with map lighting more without worrying about what the moonlight offerings would do, but all I'm seeing from their reworked and newer maps is the same stuff, tbh. Not hating on their design team- they're obviously very talented and the game IS beautiful- I just wish they weren't taking the maps in a direction where it's becoming pretty homogenized. MacMillan does NOT look THAT different from Badham now as far as lighting and ambience goes, at least in my opinion. Badham is slightly darker and that's about all I can think of.

I really like the lighting on the map, some areas of grass feel a bit bare to me though. The textures on the walls, grass, buildings etc are really good imo.

Breakable walls I am not completely sold on however.

I liked new maps. But it's sad that the blue is gone.

Someone already said it but, god windows have returned in the form of breakable walls. Feels like a step back after they'd finally gotten rid of them. This was such a notorious issue before on Macmillan maps.

I also miss the blue hue, but I'm sure we'll adjust.
